Like the Dark Souls 2 for current gen, why not put another game on the disc? Dark Souls for the Souls 2 game, and DMC 4 for the DMC reboot?

If this wasn't a move just to force people to buy the game after promising the PS Plus Edition at launch, then why not just release an offline version of it months ago. Biggest scam in gaming this year.

By "different" you mean "exactly the same"? Because that is what it looks to be.
It is a remake. That is fine.
The game's PR keeps trying to use buzzwords to make it seem like a completely new game. At one point a Sony exec even called it a reboot.
Hopefully the game ships with this happening, that way we know it wasn't all just meaningless.
