And the Kinect isn't a gimmick? Both controllers are nice, but come on man. The PS4 has only been out a few weeks. Of course some of the features aren't being utilized.
8 hours is plenty, if you need longer just get a micro usb cable/charger and do a play and charge thing. Though If you play 20+ hours in a row, you have more problems then just your controller dying.
