That's like asking 'Is Max Payne 3 the new Gears of War'? Same genres, completely different games.
Trill Kill actually looked pretty interesting. Four fighters in a 3D arena, all punching on at the same time. They should resurrect it on XBLA or something.
This kind of reminds me of the time George Lucas tried to put N'Sync in Star Wars Episode 2. It just cheapens the mythos to have a celebrity character who looks and acts like themselves.

@Laxman216, the games are clearly ordered by year, not quality. It starts with Doom in 1993 and ends with Resistance 3, which just came out recently.
Agreed tho, Resistance 3 would be a terrible choice for No 1.
Kratos is a hero? He's certainly one of the best game characters but I wouldn't call him a hero.
Some good old school choices in there. I'd forgotten all about James Pond. Simon the Sorcerer is crap though.

Maybe not overhyped... but it's going to disappoint. Bet it'll be a racing game that sucks at racing. C'mon, 'shifting' magically between cars in the middle of a chase? What a stupid idea....
None have failed, sure, but D3 is totally not going to live up to everyones' hopes and dreams. It's going to be so fundamentally similar to D2 and D1 that old-school players will just be stuck thinking "well, what's new?"
That said it'll still be another massive success commercially for Blizzard, just like Starcraft 2 (common Metacritic complaint is that it's so similar to SC1 and BW)
Yeah, Left 4 Dead 2 was a disappointment (so similar to original) and HL2Ep2 was so short. Valve better pick up their game (pun) with Portal 2 and HL2Ep3.

Uncharted 2 was ridiculously overrated. No surprises that it was PS3-only, it probably wasn't worth porting to the Xbox 360.

I'm enjoying the campaign so far, but graphics are definitely below MW2 standards. The close-ups of character models are especially dodgy. Ah well, I suppose graphics aren't everything.
Actually, the largest percentage said they'd stick to DVDs (35%). The second largest percentage said they weren't interested in 3D Blu-ray (31%), for a combined total of 66%.
