But I can definately imagine some people out there paying for this. I mean, the Playstation Plus subscription is a similar service that hasn't been shunned completely by the masses, although at a much fairer price. Despite the apparently high price of "$10 a month", there's gotta be people out there who would happily accept it to receive more content sooner than everyone else. All in all though, I find it hard to believe they would do so or even if it did take off, I can'...
He makes it sound like guaranteed early beta access is a bad thing, yet I've gone and pre-ordered Medal of Honor in order to play the beta in the first place. In the end, I'm hoping that I'll end up really enjoying it and will still buy it. However, I still don't think I'd pay $50 to do so, although I can imagine that some people would, so everyone's happy I s'pose.
I'm just glad they aren't charging me to play my games online :)
That was really uninspiring, the only thing about this game that I might get excited about is the flying body parts. Ah well, I'll wait for some MoH gameplay and then make my decision then. What a shame.
For all of those who are still unsure about the auto-aim in MP, there are three different playlists for players who like lots of auto-aim, a little auto-aim and then absolutely no auto-aim.

I wonder if the horse felt weird getting glued...
A definate improvement, I played a bit of it last night and everything seemed so much more responsive. Plus the fix for the CTD when you're in an exploding vehicle is very much welcome, nothing worse than blowing up AND leaving the game at the same time.
It looks alright, enemies seemed a bit static and now you look at it, wouldn't you just rather play Modern Warfare 2? Or Battlefield Bad Company 2 lol? It looks ok, just looks a bit behind it's time now, might be worth a try, ya never know.
Can't be surprised it's number 1 after all the traffic it caused trying to download the beta Thursday. Which is great, I only hope that people will continue to support it long after release because I intend to play it for ages, squadding it everytime hopefully. Love this game.
Yeah you're right about perfectionist, why the hell didn't they chose the LMG one? That's gotta be much harder than the sniper where you have at minimum only 5 bullets, bit of a pants list really.
Well, they already have Rust which is a similar sort of size to Shipment, I mean I agree with you, these small maps never really do anything for me. I'd like to see Crossfire come back, I freaking loved that map oh and Overgrown is very welcome, can't wait for some more maps.
This isn't really news, we already sorta knew that the PC beta was coming early 2010. On the bright side it's good knowing that it hasn't been delayed, I can't wait to get my freaking hands on it. The PS3 beta was an option, but the PC version is how it's meant to be played :) And the only time for me when N4G is irrelevant is when HHG or Michael Pachter are featured on here lol.
@TeaRunner:
I agree with you, this isn't news and no it shouldn't of been approved of course. I just get annoyed when people are convinced it's a flamewar caused by Sony fans, it annoys me when it happens in the reverse. It's just a shame that people like NoBias and Demonzu Souru see something negative and immediately jump out of their seats and shout "Burn the Heretics! (in this case, PS3 fans)" when really, it's nothing to do with them. What's interesting about this p...
@Demonzu Souru: This isn't a rumour spread by PS3 fanboys, in case you haven't noticed Pachter (in his infinite wisdom) predicted that some time in the future Microsoft are going to increase the price, something to do with new features or some rubbish like that. Please grow up and stop trying to start s*** with your fanboyism crap.
@NoBias: If you don't like the site, then go someplace else, for someone called NoBias and having all three consoles in their avatar, you sure do get ...
Christ man it's in the update right at the start,
"Update - I've changed the headline to reflect the fact that Benzies' comments about "doing crazy things for no reason" apply to character antics in missions, rather than what's possible in GTA 5's open world. Apologies for any confusion."
