Fantasy Life will never come to Vita. It's being developed co-developed with Brownie Brown who are a Nintendo first-party company.
They don't need to "keep up" with anyone. You have no idea how much Nintendo has made selling the DS's and the Wii hardware at a profit and having the best selling non-bundled game of all time (Mario Kart Wii).
Selling 250K without any recent substantial hardware is fantastic.

If you actually read the article, you would see that the programmer put it in the game 26 years ago, but only last year revealed that it existed.

No this isn't a small game, it's a full-fledged wii game, different from the PC freeware game. The team who created the PC version went to develop the Wii version. Do you think a game that's also on PC(for free) would be getting scores like 8 and above?
Your a big idiot, this game was created with WiiWare in mind, then moved over. Why would it be worse on the console it first started off with?
This is a really good thing for the Wii! With all the controversy makes this sell, the Wii will see more games like this. Idiots who think the Wii is casual only will notice this gem thanks to all the media it's getting and this may actually make the wii, instead of breaking it.
I'm not saying they don't have a lot of crap, I'm just disagreeing with ruining the market.
And Wii Sports and Wii Fit may be casual games but they are still fun, and last time I remembered games were supposed to be fun.

I have a 360 and a Wii.. and I'm not going to be a fanboy by saying I play the wii more, cause I don't. They both get a similiar ammount of game time. The wii is good if you want something different and hey.. news flash some people DO want something different. I know you can't believe it right?
It's been pretty good since launch.. a few duds but you can really tell which ones you shouldn't buy. And they've got a looot of goodies coming so wiiware's future is looking pretty bright!

Yeah, you'd have to be blind if you think it won't be a success.
It might not reach DS number but those are godly freaking numbers, over 120 million sold worldwide. If it doesn't reach it, it doesn't mean it's a failure.
