What sony need to do is bring back ps3 backwards compatibility with software to get rid of ps2 cause they can get more developers off the ps2, start developing newer titles for sony ps3 console.

At lease we don't half to go back to 1997 to play games on 6 or more CDs or DVDs, blu-ray is worth it unlike a DVD players like M$ console is.
Its Mass Effect cause M$ won't let gear of war series or halo series go to the ps3 and Valve already said Left 4 dead wasn't going to the ps3 anytime soon so I am speculating but its going be Mass Effect 100%.

I think at a difference time point like when sony first launch playStation 3 should have ben sold at $400 bucks would have ben fair to me too but now they need a price drop, if Sony do it right now at around $350 dollars it would drive up sells of the real Next Generation console.

Why don't sony just drop the price on the PS3 80GB models to $260 or $250 and when the PS3 160GB Slim come out it can be price at $300.

I think sony should have kept those PS2 chips on ps3 and found another way to lower down price cause if the ps3 had the ps2 library of games on there sony would still be Dominating.
