49erguy you can save up for a HDTV cause they don't cost that much anymore but a backwards compatibility PS3 trying to save up for that is almost impossible cause their always over price or if you can even find one these days.
No! I want b/c on my $400 dollars ps3. yes you Can have your cake and you can eat it too! I have a dream that all ps3's will have backwards compatibility no matter if it cost you $400 or $299 it will have B/C and will be on all PS3 create equally.
No they don't, some people never even played a ps2 yet and was planing on buying a ps3 for ps2 games and ps3 games also but with no b/c on ps3 their not going to buy it now in tell sony bring back b/c fully to the ps3.
I got my ps1 around christmas at first I didn't want it but when I hook it up started playing that demo CD i was happy I couldn't believe the graphics of the playstation 1 it was Awesome back then man.
NO! you need to start reading alot of these people blogs or ps3 general forum or the web sites out there 50% or maybe 60% of sony fans want b/c back thats half the people that don't have ps3 and waiting for that to happen before buying a new ps3 or ps3 slim even with a price cut.
As long as sony playstation is out there we're going to want b/c in tell the end of time.

Backwards compatibility is the real reason why xbox 360 is winning the console wars, sometimes I hope they do win to teach sony a lesson to keep B/C or your going to lose sony's loyal fans respect.

I'm O.K about the price cut I am very piss about ps3 not having backwards compatibility sony are beginning to look like a bunche crooks.

Tommorow at gamescom Sony's president Kazuo Hirai need to start talking about a strategy to get Sony out of this big hole they got them self in and it better be a good strategy this time.
I agree with you pumal it looks ugly I also hope they keep selling the normal PS3's.
