I do believe SE has taken a hit from fans across the world about their previous localization process and have step it up a bit. maybe FFvsXIII will see even closer release dates between the japanese version and the rest of the worlds version.

You think price cuts for MS's 360 is the key now for them? Price Cuts for the 360 are irrelevant now. MS can cut the price another $50 and it still wouldn't have an impact. This is just another toy to appeal to the casual. Natal along with Sony's Wand will have little to no impact on the casual market. As sad as it is the Wii holds most of the casual market. Sony and MS are just trying to take a little piece of the pie from Nintendo is all.

Clearly you don't understand how huge the Final Fantasy name is with regards to the Playstation brand. I like a couple of my other friends bought a launch ps3 just for Final fantasy XIII. You may be surprised but thats how huge Final Fantasy is. Final fantasy is one of the biggest video game franchise in the gaming market. MW2 will not get GOTY. MW2 only adds more perks and a new set of maps, and a different story single player. U2 is leaps and bounds over any game his gen.
