That is what I am working towards right now with Nier. The whole game had so many story developments that shocked me in a good way. So I am looking forward to the true ending and what that brings to the story overall.

1) Make sure resolution when connected to your 4K HDR TV is 2160p-RGB.

2) Make sure RGB range is correct on both PS4 pro and 4K HDR TV (Correct matches are Full/Normal or Limited/Low)

I do not have that game, but from what I've read and seen on YT, that game looks insanely good on the Pro with 4K. It even has faster more stable FPS in multiplayer too.
I got the PS4 pro first, while I waited for the TV I wanted next (Samsung KS8000) to be on sale during the Holidays last year. Raven's character is quite deep. She was actually willing to do anything to save her brother and those kids on the Ark.

I would get the Pro first, since it is an immediate upgrade with games down-sampled down on full HD TV's. That is if you can't get both at the same time.
Then a 4K HDR TV would simply make your games sharper, brighter, more colors and HDR.

I've noticed this as well. Keep in mind I have been in the 4.50 beta and I still noticed some sluggishness with the OS, especially when first turning on a game. That was an interesting reason why photo taking was in the game. I kind of just saved the really random pics. The one where its like WTF is Noctis doing floating in the air, or when Gentiana shows up in the pics.
