Your use of CoD:BO preorders as an analogy fails as it is subjective and unverifiable, nor is it even remotely global. Besides, the majority of PS3 owners I know, including myself, don't want to buy CoD. Your argument would be less frail if you had posted official console-game attachment numbers -- whichever way they may be.
Are you one of the dozen? You actually think I'm doing this in hopes of potentially being stumbled upon by a female N4G forumite (notice the intentional uncertainties)? Whatever tickles your fancy, but the truth is this: I'm happily in a relationship which could be the final one.
Love 'em as much as the next guy. Dehumanizing women as objects of viewing pleasure is what I'm opposed to. But, given the assumed demographic (i.e. prepubescent to young adult) of N4G, I guess articles like this are fated to get massive attention
This'll reach 1000 degrees in no time flat. FYI, I didn't bother to click on the linked site.
The writer of this article needs to learn what a sentence fragment is. The chosen sentences, except for the imperative statements, all have a subject and a verb (an object, contrary to popular belief, isn't essential for every sentence). As spartan and non-descriptive as the original text is, they are not fragments--the last two are imperative statements, so they don't need a subject. I will grant that they are choppy and close to unrelated and contradictory.
Not that I recall. I do remember them basing Genesis (from Crisis Core) off of Gackt, but I haven't read anything about model bases for this game.
The music for the second video is the main theme song for Gran Turismo 2 (which I have always liked). Listening to music beats listening to crowds with a very faint sound of the game bleeding through, IMO.
I ran a personal (read: not factual) tally of which I think is superior for each screen shot. The final tally I came up with is PS3: 7; Xbox 360: 6; Tie: 3.
They're both extremely well off. The PS3 has a bit more pixel definition in some of the environments and on most of the characters (and is a little more blurry on some environment elements--mostly the alpha mapping--strangely), while the Xbox handles shadows and lighting better for most of them. Either way you play it...
Yeah. I can't go back to other FPSs after playing MAG -- not that it's a bad thing. :)
I've extensively played the Beta. The animations and sounds have received a major overhaul, as have many other performance issues. The game has a consistently much higher frame rate too. To this day, and I bought it at launch, MAG remains my number 1 played game.
If I ever get RDR, I'm going to get a Donkey Woman.
That seals the deal: no FFXIV for me.
I played KZ1 and it made KZ2 even better. I was stunned when
***SPOILER***
Templar died.
I was hoping to see a Kinect game, albeit a rip off of a Move game, actually work. Oh well, there's always the next one.
The author seems to hate gaming. Too bad for him (//.-).
Killzone 2 is tons of fun, and I've beaten it multiple times. I unlocked everything online and made it to the highest level.
I still play MAG habitually today (broke 210 hours and won't be stopping in the foreseeable future). Absolutely my favorite online game, bar none.
Heavy Rain is absolutely amazing, heart pulling/warming, intricate, well-written, and is on the top of my lis...
I have absolutely no incentive to jailbreak the PS3.
They promise many more weapons and gear items as well. The G36 has been mentioned by name, but I think/hope they'll had either the Micro Tavor or the Tavor TAR 21. Other than that, any weapons are welcome. I think a very good weapon for Valor would be the M468 as it doesn't fire the weaker 5.56 mm bullets of standard rifles, nor does it fire the powerful 7.62 mm bullets of bigger rifles; it fires custom-made 6.8 mm rounds. Good "in between" rifle. On that note, the Masada or...
I hardly call ~40 weapons "small."
Here is a list of the ones present in the game - MAG fictional names first, actual names second:
Assault Rifles:
Hollis A3 - Steyr AUG A3
ATAC 2000 - FN F2000
R-553 - SIG-SAUER SG553
M4A1 - Colt M4A1
SFCR-LW - FN SCAR-L
SFCR-HW - FN SCAR-H
AK-74U - AKS-74U
AG-94 - AN-94
AK-103 - AK-103
Light/heavy machine guns:
APEX 100...
A couple MAG forum members, including myself, grouped up and identified these weapons in their real life counterparts. Both are photo'd; check them out:

I'm not disagreeing with you on the first part of your comment. However, I think I do recall something resembling a racing line in GT1 and 2 (PSOne games) when you were trying to get your licenses. I'll have to go back and check. So, I think it's not proper to credit Forza with pioneering that; it may not even be proper to credit GT for that.
