Its about time. Glad MS got the new sdks out and unlocked the gpu so now XB1 owners can get what the machine is really capable of. Now haters can look for something else to cling too. Pathetic.
I am guessing the GPU unlock and new sdks helped with this. However, with the extra power of PS4 I dont think its fair if they dont utilize the power of PS4 for its own added effects in game. Each console should be pushed for what they can do. That is what makes them unique. XB1 should be able to consistently hit 1080p going forward but PS4 should be delivering amazing graphical experiences of its own either 1st or 3rd party. Happy for XB1 getting 1080p and in the end the gamers win.
I wouldnt go so far to say they 'dominated'. MS did just as good. They both have amazing games coming and both did equally well. Stop hyping Sony like they were the only one with games. If you think that then you are blind, stupid or delusional.

This will make the game infinitely more fun. Why didnt Sony do the same with the Order - that game looks amazing and Coop would have been great.
Ted Price revealed not long ago that Sunset OD was currently at 900p rez. Maybe the new sdks will help get it o 1080p. Its more than just the 10% boost with the new sdks - they keep optimizing the toolsets in them as well which may help with the esram or whatever else it takes to get to 1080p. Either way the June sdks are a good thing for MS and fans as they will no doubt help with the games. Now all 100% of the GPU power is available so hopefully it gives devs better options.
How do they have anything to lose??? Last time I checked they were raping MS in sales and they will have a killer E3 as well. Uncharted will be amazing as will The Order and Driveclub. If they show a new God of War and a new Gran Turismo - GAME OVER. I am sure MS has a great show lined up as well but it is going to be near impossible to catch Sony with the lead they have and all of the momentum they will have after tomorrow to add to their ridiculous success already. I love my XB1 and I hope this helps MS sell more units becuz they are getting smoked in sales globally. I am sure E3 will help as will this new $399 console. How much remains to be seen. Glad I have a PS4 as well and hope they have a good E3 too.
This will be a real nice counter for MS against the impressive looking Driveclub by Sony.
With 8 million consoles sold I dont think Sony is too worried about delaying a game if it means it will be better. People have made their choice with PS4 and will wait for what comes.
For all the people saying Delayclub looks better, lets wait and see some video first for Horizon 2. Delayclub does look very good and I am going to get in when it FINALLY comes out for my PS4 - if they dont DELAY it again. Horizon 2 looks pretty good and may be even better. We will know more on Friday.

Certain people were hoping XB1 would stay at mostly 720p and that is just ignorant because it already had achieved 1080p in several games. I always feel the games are just a bit more crisp and colorful on my XB1 than my PS4 except of course for exclusives. Lots of pop in on PS4 games that deliver 1080p and that annoys me when I see it. It would have been embarassing if they couldnt hit 1080p with all of the negative rez debates lately. Thank God for that. 30 fps makes sense for an open world game especially when Driveclub is hitting that as well on the PS4. The PS4 is a legit BEAST of a system. This game, Order 1886 and others are putting out movie quality visuals. Got to love the dark setting and eerie feeling it gives. PS4 is pushing the next gen graphics envelope and its scary to think what we will be playing two years from now.
