You don't need a game to win GOTY for it to be considered the "best". It's important to remember that games are meant to be fun. Super Mario 3d World has won multiple GOTY awards but not as much as TLOU or GTA V, However I find my self playing Super Mario 3d World far more then GTA V OR TLOU. This is becuase it is a game that has entertained me immensely far more. Wii U has fantastic games you just love to hate on Nintendo becuase it's "Cool".
