Well, artstyle doesn't really have anything to do with how much power is required to run the game.

It runs well and has a lot more strategic plays than pubg.

As always it's about the games. The Xbox One X is a mighty beast, but the PS4 has a lot more exclusives coming our way in 2018/19 that Microsoft just can't beat.

To be honest this seems kinda fair - even though 1.0 brought vaulting, which was a great addition, I feel like some of the concepts and executions are off. Weapon handling, hitboxes, optimization and the excessive lag, which plagues (at least in EU) the servers is making it a bit of a mess. Fortnite Battle Royal at least does a lot of these things a lot better (though its not a perfect game either).

I'm really surprised the remastered versions are running 60fps - Haven't got an Xbox, but I would definitely have thought they'd be running at 60fps.

SWTFU was groundbreaking in the forms of technology. The DMM tech combined with Naturalmotions Endorphin (Used later in Rockstars games) was a great accomplishment on systems of the time.

With that said - the second game seemed to be a regular case of milking the franchise. Story was bad and it didn't really add to the original formular at all.

Visually it looks good. But some of the animations definitely needs work.
The animation blends on the main character looks like they haven't really blended properly and her idle animation (and going into idle animation) looks kinda odd.

Yeah I kinda wish they would get some better spam protection, which is certainly out there.

My greatest wish, though never going to happen, would be that EA would make some drastic changes in management and how they do games in general.

On the other hand I have a feeling that Disney might opt out of letting EA handle their Star Wars license and give it to a company that has a less scared reputation.

There are numerous other companies I would rather handle Star Wars than EA. Activision/Blizzard - maybe even with a Bungie tie in on a Star Wars g...

Am I the only one who would wish they would just collaborate. Together these two titans (MS and Sony) could create something truly incredible. A huge lineup of games and with powerful consoles to run them.

Sure - competition would be marginal, with only Nintendo and their playerbase, which is quite different from Xbox and PS. The competition would now be among the developers and who could push the beast the most and come up with better stories and better gameplay.

At least someone can post something that isn't just a 3 word comment on "its a scam....."

As I've stated early and multiple times over and over.

We are getting something. Chris' first iteration of what was supposed to be Star Citizen is already playable in the alphas. A fully fledged FPS, which is even more fulfilling that a lot of AAA FPS games these days, is already playable. We get huge amounts of updates and news on this game that would put any other company's update on their games to shame.

And its not like backers money aren...

Have you actually backed this project and played the alphas?

To the people who have no vision for any kind of game that exceeds anything more than to dry your pockets out for DLC and MT. Sure. You could call it a joke. But that would just be "those" people.

3007d ago 4 agree8 disagreeView comment

That is where you are wrong.

Sure if I hadn't been able to see any progress at the game at all I would probably think something was up.

But people just conveniently neglect that all backers can actually play the Alpha. They neglect that his first vision of what they actually backed for is fully playable. They neglect the fact that we get progress updates - completely transparent reports of bugs, issues and what else the team is facing. They do a year...

So let me get this straight.

You wanted Chris to just do what he first envisioned - a simple space simulator in the likes of what was available when Arena Commander launched.

What are they supposed to do with the rest of the money? Should they just keep taking it in and what spend it among them selves just for fun?

I don't get people - this guy - compared to any other company (I'm especially looking at you EA) - is actually US...

Can you give an example?

A lot of the time it seems like open world games are packed with "fluff" things to do - like repetitive sidemission, that tries to make the game seem more lively and filled with opportunities.

But to be honest I would 100% of the time rather have a smaller open world game focusing on story and combat than a fluff filled 30+ hour game where 80% of the time you are doing nothing but meaningless sidemission to try to get to a certain level to advance the story.

The sad news is that if it was only up to EA this issue would still persist.

It was only cause of Disneys interference that they did this. Disney was afraid this would create a negative impact on "The Last Jedi".

At this point I'm tired of reading about this debacle.
So many articles and so many comments. Once you read through them its clear that most people are complaining and actually whining about a game they haven't even tried or purchased. Its almost 80% of the comments which is just ridiculous to be honest.

I bought it. I'm enjoying it. And I'm not gonna let any player nor blog/magazine/news site - tell me I can't cause they feel wronged. Sure so...
