it hasn't gone wrong, the only thing that's gone wrong is gamers who constantly complain about games not trying anything new or unique, and then getting all uppity whenever a game like saints row dares to have a plot that doesn't take itself seriously, these same people then turn around and defend games like lollipop chainsaw, in other words, gamers today just like to whine about everything, had no idea that every game had to have some element of seriousness -_-

that's because despite the extremely loud minority of western gamers, this game is very well made and is very popular in japan with lightning even being their favorite character
you say I hate japanese games, yet ignore the fact that I love zelda, dark souls, dragon's dogma, resident evil, the classic silent hill games, excuse me for not liking games with characters like this, which is a large majority of japanese games contain these days

um, none of what I saw in that demo was creepy or scary, a guy with an axe chasing me down in a hallway is the most cliche and least effective type of horror there is, and the way they were marketing the horror, "not being able to see the ground makes it scarier" um what, horror is about subtlety, not big action set pieces
no they are not, ubisoft has continued to deliver top tier experiences all generation, and are delivering the most new IPs this year as well as the most next gen new ips

it's the end of a trilogy, playing the first two games is essential especially considering the fact that the witcher 3 has you carry over story progress and it also has a very indepth story, ps4 gamers will definitely be getting less of an experience due to the lack of ps3 ports for the witcher 1 and 2

doing ALL of the content in AC3 took me around 25 hours
dark souls is not mediocre, it's definitely much better than demon's souls which was inconsistent and overly difficult to the point of not being fun at all except for a very niche amount of gamers, compared to dark souls which is difficult but also fun and not repetitive
well of course, look at the difference at skyward sword in 1080p on an emulator
SWEET, I hope the side quests are as interesting as the homestead missions in AC3, those provided soooo much character development, shame people missed out on them
the hardcore mode has no qtes -_- can someone tell me WHY everyone keeps glossing over that fact
