Much more intuitive than the old control scheme. Shame that the D-pad isn't used, would definitely love to be able to switch powers on the fly without stopping to absorb a different moveset.
Less overly long expositional monologues about friendship and hearts please. The gameplay and level design is great but it can seriously get annoying listening to the same monologues reiterated over and over again in each new installment.
@Aceblazer13
I play the games because they have fantastic combat mechanics and great level design, that doesn't mean that I should be forced to either sit through overly long cutscenes that take way too long to tell the player something ...
Source engine is completely different from the I.W. engine. Do you honestly think that they didn't try different engines out? And looks aren't everything, play the game first instead of going watching youtube videos. Otherwise, your opinion about how it "feels" is completely invalid.
Definitely not gonna pretend that there's a noticeable difference between 960p and 1080p unless you look WAY too into things, like the font on the bottom of a generic npc is slightly more clear.
“With The Wind Waker HD we naturally expected many people to have played the previous version, so we made the harder Hero mode available from the beginning. However, although it is a sequel, this time we have a brand new game.
We felt that it was more suitable to have the players first enjoy the game at an appropriate difficulty level and then let them try a harder challenge."
Um, Enouma, I remember there was a time where we could select easy mode or hard mode, n...
I'll be pissed if we don't get a definitive ending...
@kingdad WAY too many modern games have open-ended endings that aren't satisfying and are just there to set up a sequel or "true ending" dlc. I want an ending that's satisfying and feels like an ending to the 20 hour story that I just experienced.
"Gone Home may have lasted a scant three hours, but its conclusion left the player feeling like they'd experienced a full story. Ground Zeroes, on the other hand, doesn't only end in a cliffhanger - much like MGS2's Tanker opening - it doesn't even attempt to spin a full yarn. That mysterious burned man in the opening named Skull Face piques our curiosity only to completely disappear with nary a mention (though he does inexplicably leave behind a seven-plus minute audio r...
I always just assumed that it was a sex pun. "solid snake" "naked snake" "punished snake." or the fact that a good amount of the "snakes" have one eye. (._. )
Shadow of the colossus is a spiritual predecessor to Ico, basically a prequel, not the other way around.
Saying that all dlc should be free is a very ignorant and disrespectful comment towards the developers who spend the extra time and money to produce said dlc.
1.At 2:36 he shoots a neon blast at a civilian and it just noclips through her...um..ok then
2.4:27 FINALLY we can swim!
Me too, I seriously want a cleaner hub that separates games from apps.
DmC was the first devil may cry game with good platforming, it was also the first game in the series where we didn't have to backtrack, and it was teh first devil may cry game where EVERY character had a clear motive that was explained in depth, like say Vergil, who got his own campaign instead of just spouting "I need more power!" during cutscenes, AND the first Devil may cry game where we don't fight the same bosses over and over, not only that, but even though it was more...
Who thought that the trailer was in-game? Certainly not myself.
I agree, just give me a fun long game and stop trying to make it seem like video games are as well written as films!
So...many...feels in this episode.... 2intense4me (._. ) I can't handle anymore of this...there's no happy ending in sight...
It's definitely not good news the lead writer and head of development leaves an in progress next gen sequel to a critically acclaimed series. Hopefully someone employs her soon for another I.P. or video game, she's not the best writer ever but she's definitely good at writing believable character interactions.
Yea i'm sorry but I doubt that this story will be "mature" compared to games like the Witcher and the Souls series.
GAMEPLAY goes a long way compared to graphics, or did you forget the popularity of games like DAYZ, minecraft, and the walking dead? The obsession with cinematic expensive graphics needs to stop, especially considering that some games like The Witcher 3 will have WAY more quality content than a large majority of triple A games while also providing impressive visuals, all accomplished with a lower budget. And seriously, if a higher player count means so much to you, then why aren't you pla...
