But surely then you loose some of the charm in the game's difficulty? Demon's Souls was never meant to be played with friends, so why should Dark Souls or a sequel be the same? Got to say though the ability to actually play online AT ALL is nice. Hopefully they won't need a patch to fix that if another game comes out.
ANYWAY. Nice little article :)
Surely that would be just copying Battlefield anyway?
Awesome review!
Awesome review!
Just downloaded this game..my life is over.
CUNT
LOL
Have to agree wit the previous comments starts off slow but is refreshing in that I haven't played a game like it in years! I do find it to be incredibly taxing on the brain though..
Yeah shame really..was around the time I was really busy so it totally slipped my mind..
This game is friggin' amazing! I find it hard getting 5 stars though so this article will be a big help :)
@ComboBreaker I agree with you entirely. I see a lot of the comments on this article talk about it's the only game out like it. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's good, does it?
Take a game like Heavy Rain for example. There's no other game out there like it, yet a lot of people disregard it as pretentious toss and "not a game".
For the record though, Heavy Rain is brilliant.
@PidgeottosCrew That is some commitment you've got there but I really don't see why you should have to put up with a game for hours on end, despite not enjoying it at all, just in case there's some enjoyable moments further into the game.
Answer me this, would you say, watch an hour into a 2 hour long film, despite it only actually getting good during the last half hour?
If i'm honest, I think 4 hours is enough for a game to win me over, if it...
Only high on life maaaaaaan.
ONLY 4 hours? If by 4 hours a game hasn't won you over, you've got to be extremely committed (or crazy) to carry on...IMO of course..
Dear god, the comments left by antauwnehart and lochdoun are absolutely laughable. The lack of a "proper" manual is a modern trend within all games, it's far more eco friendly and thoroughly rectified by the BRILLIANT tutorials the game boasts (seriously, I never knew how to do a single fatality in ANY MK game until this one).
Now I can only speak for myself, but i've played king of the hill, lobbies, one on ones, private matches, hardly any lag whatsoever,...
Can't wait to get this on my 3DS :D
Really good guide..very helpful ;)
@Kalowest Not in the UK. This is the 3DS port of the game. The 3DS isn't even out in the UK yet..
Really good preview, will be interesting to see what the final product is like :)
In theory, your point makes sense but the games industry these days is so HUGE that boycotting a companies games (which is what I think your suggesting, correct me if i'm wrong), is just impossible to organise.
Take the Call of Duty series for example. Everyone agrees that the DLC for Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2 was/is ridiculously overpriced. Yet there's sod all we can do it about it because for every person not willing to buy the DLC because of it's price tag...
Looks SLICK!
