These arguments are dumb all you have to do is learn a little about the human eye to learn the TRUTH.
Trusting a day one review wouldnt be bad depending on the games length, say game is 8hrs long and releases at midnight. You could easily play the game fully and release your review by noon. Alot of shooters would fall into this. I would go by what site releases the review on how trust worthy the review is.
Love the gpp on xbox have bought most the games that are part of it would love it if I could do it on my ps4 pro too. Games like we happy few, the long dark, elite dangerous, ark have been a blast to help in the development process it should be there for those who love to truely help and support devs they like. Its simple really those who dont want the risk dont have to buy the titles but us who do should be able too.

The list of gamertags used in this data seems to be from 2015 and not a current list, im sure this has some effect on the outcome of the data being shown. I would love to see how this matches up to ms own data, I find it hard to believe ms would put the time and money into bc if these numbers are right. Also they are using estimated numbers in xb1 owners instead of hard data not impressed on how this was done.
