Sony is also under the mistaken impression that including the ability to play DVD movies is a huge selling point. But true technophiles and hardcore gamers probably already have DVD drives. I'm a good case in point. I already own a Sony DVD player, so I could not care less if the **$299** PS2 can play movies. **I'd rather pay less and get a machine that just plays games instead.**

You can argue for hours, but you won`t be CHANGE someone`s OPINION, even with FACTS.
Only such events like E3 and TGS07 can.
Just look, like some people after GDC07 and LBP started to think, that maybe LBP worth $600? Not because some facts, that ps3 is powerful or whatever, but only after some events.
Also Sony gamer`s day showed some amazing games, for those who already had ps3 it started to look more worth it`s money.

Ace combat 6 is coming to x360, though series was always exclusive to playstation™.
Ridge Racer 64 was released in 2000 for N64, and now we got RR6 for x360.
Trusty Bell went to x360.
So everything is possible,

Time Crysis 4 coming to ps3.
RR7 is exclusive for ps3.

when those AAA titles will be released, they price won`t matter.
But, if you can wait till your most anticipated game is released and then buy a console by 100$ cheaper, WHY NOT?
on BOTH consoles i WAIT for good nextgen survival-horrors(sh5, re5, aitd5).
on BOTH consoles i WAIT for good nextgen 3d platforms(ratchet, banjo3).
on BOTH consoles i WAIT for good nextgen slashers(ngs, ng2, dmc4, hs, gow3).
on BOTH consoles i WAIT for good nextgen fightings(sc4, t6).
so i DON`T see the difference when i have to WAIT for genres in which i am interested.
You can have 100 good shooters, 100 3d actions, but if you are interested...
