The halo killer came out in 2004, it was called halo 2.
This isnt strange at all, in fact a 1 year warranty is the standard. The only reason the warranty was extended to 3 years for rrod was because it was so wide spread.
Is this a joke? Of course killzone 2 is going to sell way more then halo wars its an fps, and halo wars is an rts. The last time i checked rts was the least popular genre on consoles. It will be impressive even if halo wars sells half as much as killzone 2.

Thats the best feature ive seen in a while. I was getting ready to post a comment saying that halo 2 had this 4 years ago, but this is way way better. I'd take this over saved films any day.

To me, Halo 3 will always have the best multiplayer due to the fact that it has such depth in custom options, and also due to forge. I haven't played killzone 2s multiplayer, but unless it has comparable options to keep it fresh i doubt i will like it more then Halo 3s.

There is nothing wrong with this story its just an editorial that in my opinion is accurate, all the most recent reviews for killzone have been under 8.5. So i do believe that the initial high scores are due to fanboy pressure on the publications. However, I havent played the game other then the demo so i cannot say that the game is good or bad, only that the reviews have most likely been skewed.
Edit: I didnt realize that they said ign gave it 8, since thats the case i agree wit...
gears of war 2 was the original victim, not killzone 2.
The review guide for lair told reviewers to overlook certain bad aspects of the game. All that the press packet halo wars ask is that the reviewer doesnt include spoilers, which is perfectly reasonable.
Call of duty 4 sold 6.91m, and halo 3 sold 8.92. It didnt even outsell halo 2 which sold 8.4.

I barely know anything about cell, or the ps3 hardware. What i do know is that saying 7 cores is always better then 3 cores is a complete lie. Also the cell processor is a new architecture so the 7 hes talking about arent cores they are SPEs. The cell in the ps3 has one core you wont see a duel core cell processor for 5 years let alone 7. The reason devs prefer the xbox has nothing to do with hardware, its all about software. The development tools that microsoft made are simply incredible but...
