It's 400 player BR, 1000 player HUB. Still 400 players with various hardware specs and network connections, destruction, wildlife, tracking footprints, dynamic weather, cryengine graphics all on a huge map will be tough on servers. I hope they can pull it off even if they have to lower player count to 100-250. Not into Fortnite and getting tired of PUBG slow development but shoving in more microtransactions.
Only reason I still play COD is for its campaigns. Its amazing how lazy, cheap and greedy Activision is but never get the same hate EA gets even though they have been worse at times. Pay to win microtransactions, lootboxes and paid DLC in a remaster, locking the remaster behind another game, stripping features and content out of sequels so you have to buy season passes or lootboxes.

Who knows on PC too. They are claiming destructible environments, fires that spread, tracking footprints, AI wildlife, dynamic weather with the great graphics of Cryengine. That's a lot of stuff for the server to handle.

Does anyone think this game will get an expansion?? I know there is no season pass but Horizon Zero Dawn didn't have one either but it still got the Frozen Wilds expansion. Seems like most of Sony's exclusives got the single player DLC treatment. Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Infamous, Bloodborne, and Gravity Rush 2 all had single player DLC. Think I just answered my question.

What's not to like? More people to play with and easier for friends to play together. Next step some games need to do is allow you to set up parties and add friends with players from other platforms.
