I think that's why they call it an opinion piece. I agree that there are a lot of them, but as the old saying goes, "If you don't want to read it..."
Personally, I like hearing varied voices.
I will always be a console guy, myself, but you're right, it is a personal preference thing. I grew up on PS2 and Xbox Live, and because of that, a ton of my friends reside on there. Lately I have found quite a plethora of smaller indie games to enjoy on computer, which is what I really am excited about.
Sites like Kickstarter, Humble Indie Bundles, and Steam make the PC a better gaming destination now than in the past.
I guess I just have to get used to FF not being turned based. It's going to be something I'm going to have to grow into, since it's something I've grown up knowing as a truth.
I still like the game, but would have preferred turn-based gameplay.
I mean, I actually like the hype for games. Also, I now rent a lot of games I KNOW are going to have short replay value. I guess I have just never been annoyed by hype like some people are. I think it's sorta silly to hate hype... :\
I love the Lips series and can't wait to get my hands on Party Classics. A lot of songs in that game that have needed to be on a singing game.
I have used the FAMAS for a long time now, and it has served me well, but I want to get some more xp for those challenges and will take this gun into battle with me next time.
I have loved this game and already finished the story.
Fun times. Great achievements.
Duke Nukem will protect us all.
The single player game is fun and the multiplayer online is top notch.
Mmhmm...money...yum..
Got mine today! Three others I know got theirs in today as well.
That guy is working on Supreme Commander 2! Pretty neat interview.
EyeToy

-Microphone
Natal
-Senses 3D Movement
-Senses color
-Voice Recognition
-Integration with system interface
Anyone who thinks EyeToy is even close to Natal in quality so far is bonkers. EyeToy has so far had 21 games released exclusively for it, with 15 of those being "EyeToy: (insert name here)" games that all sucked.
I love how moms may now be "getting it!"
Maybe all moms can be like this one. One day...one day...
Agreed?
I remember the good old days of Crazy Taxi and that "All I Want" song playing endlessly...good times.
All of those are wonderful games and provide more fun than some retail outings.
Very interesting list. I hadn't thought about number one that way before...
The PSP is costing Sony money. It's not selling well, the good games for it are few and far between, and it just isn't as well received as the DS. Many folks already have an iTouch/iPhone or mp3 player, so the need for the extra features the PSP has (wifi, music, video) isn't grabbing people's attention anymore. The PSP has to rely on its games, which at this point and time, just aren't doing it. I have a PSP, but that's because I'm a hardcore gamer who owns everything gaming. It doesn't get ...
Nice choices! I like the #1 choice the best. One of my first gaming moments that I remember well.
Rapping? I don't think my pockets can be serenaded by lyrical wonders.
