I had that problem with uncharted 3 though it did not stop me from beating it 18 times. No problems when playing uncharted 4 though as I already beat it and am starting my crushing playthrough.

That would be because people who are not gamers buy it thinking its the best thing since sliced bread. They just don't know that there is plenty of much better games out there.
Not everyone is going to enjoy a game, there will always be someone to hate on it. Personally when I played the beta I though it wasn't very good but enjoy the game. You shouldn't worry yourself if other people like it as much as you do since someone will try to spoil your good time. As long as your having fun playing the Division that is really all that matters.

I loved those roof campers I just got out my sniper rifle and boom easiest headshots ever :) I just can't believe they never wised up lol.
