Manhunt is nothing like Hatred, I don't know why people use that as an example. In Manhunt you are killing people who are trying to kill you. You may use some nasty methods to do so, but the people you are fighting are far from innocent law abiding citizens.
I have nothing against Hatred either, but the comparisons to other games are BS.
I can see why this would annoy others but I can honestly say I've never used other means of getting games on Steam other than using Steam. So I'm not bothered really, it'll still have great deals and sales, they won't stop will they?

Um, no it's not. I've put in quite a lot of time with it now and the bugs have been quite minimal especially considering the size of the game.
It might have a few bugs, but it's not a mess. It's a great game.
