I would MUCH prefer backwards compatibility, for the simple reason that Sony and Microsoft will one day stop manufacturing current gen consoles which we know don't last, I have had to replace(had repaired under warranty) both my ps3's and a 360, so having next gen hardware capable of using current gen software would help alleviate some of my console failure anxiety but if its not be its not to be...

Add £100 seems about rite to me(£350-£450),that way they will get sales from the hardcore guys who will buy no matter what the price plus it gives them leeway to reduce the price in the future to make it look like great value to all the "soccer moms"

They are actually integrating into the main games section so they won't be hidden away in some obscure corner of the o/s dashboard, they will be right along side full priced AAA games- much better IMO

Sony have said they are going to leave the decision on used games down to the publishers, this I find to be a much scarier prospect than that of microsoft.
Atleast with microsoft if I choose to sell a game the proceeds will go back to microsoft and the people who DESERVE it,the game creators.
With Sony's current stance well... can you foresee a massive publisher like EA saying sure play our games for less than price of retail and we get nothing.

Yeh I remember that well, rolling poo up that big hill with the giant wasps swarming around, they had scouse accents and actually named a few locations near liverpool, I live very near so it stuck in my head. Really funny game,I hope if we do get a 2nd outing they dont dumb down the humour for a younger audience,the dirty humour was at least 50% of why I loved that game so much.

Yeh I think it will be cool for FPS and racing sims but not alot else, overall it looks good, very happy with the way the new d pad looks also
