I never said that at all. But you didn't answer my question. Why is it now all of a sudden to want to move to the next generation of consoles a bad thing for a company to do? Because the other company flatly came out and said that they won't have anything specifically designed for their console for 2 years? Well, that's their perogative, and that's perfectly fine to do that. Suddenly, when 5 years used to be too long of a console life, now 7 years, with 2 great exclusive...
I thought the point of buying a new console was to enjoy things that a new console brings, that can't be done on anything else.
I can't ever remember being hesitant to buy a new console for fear of my old console being "left behind"
I mean, isn't that the whole point? Why is it such a bad thing now to want to move on from what you have to the newest thing? For years, that is what all of us have talked about. Waiting in anticipatio...
I just received an email from Best Buy. My copy has been delayed until Monday. Which I guess isn't so bad, since we are going to have back to back days of 90 degree weather this weekend.
I want to see the new stuff. Don't get me wrong, this is going to be a nice showcase of what it can do in regards to backwards compatibility. But here's the thing, and this is my perspective on it.
I have the One X, and Gears looks absolutely amazing on it. As do all of the games that I have that are enhanced for the One X. In fact, since I purchased the One X, I have switched the overwhelming majority of my 3rd party titles from the PS4 Pro to the X, just for t...
And you make that last part sound like it's a bad thing. That's weird.
76 on Metacritic right now, so not bad at all for a VR title
Say it with me.
"Both Consoles are going to be awesome."
That wasn't so difficult, now was it?
This.
Right here.
This.
We are about to enter another Golden Age of Gaming by the end of the year. I cannot wait to see what these 2 companies have in store.
3 Console Generations for me.
Oh the PS2 vs Xbox console wars we used to have when I was working at Gamestop (Babbage's back then) part time.
Memories
Both for me as well. Saving all those gift cards for the past 18 months comes in handy at that time of the year.
I have a question, and I could be way off base on this. As someone who is getting a Series X, if the Series S is meant to be in the same family as the X, then wouldn't the specifications of the Series S actually hold back what the X is capable of doing?
Are they planning on making games specifically for the S ?
I don't understand it, in regards as to where this fits. I know that people are talking about 1080P TV's and everything like that, but i...
I'm getting both at launch, so I can at least say that I won't have a dog in this console fight. Thank $#@%^&! God.
BC for both systems makes it a heck of a lot easier to trade in my PS4 and One X.
Oh, it sure does. Give me that PSVR support, EA.
PSVR Support?!?!?!
Oh, hell yes.
Can't wait to get my hands on the Series X and PS5 this year. Great way to end what has been a really horrible 2020
The Xbox One, in its entirety, was a big misstep, in my opinion. From the rollout plan, to the pricing, to the need for a Kinect, and how it was advertised as absolutely essential to the eco system. I think we can all agree on that.
I think that we can also all agree that since he has taken over, there have been steps in the right direction. From Gamepass, to expanding said ecosystem to include PC and smartphones.
Not to mention the acquisition of st...
Thank you for helping the Xbox Division get back on solid footing.
Just show first party titles with gameplay to go along with it.
My 4 year old son is going to LOVE this
Wow. That console is beautiful.
Wait. What is going on here? Are these all indies? Any AAA demos to speak of?
