Excellent points and you seem like you were an English major in college
agree with you completely. I have been into FPS for a while, played lots of the titles he's mentioned as well as Timesplitters 1,2,3, eventually 4, battlefront, CS:S, Battlefield, etc. and I still believe Halo is one of the best Shooters ever, and is probably my 1st or second favorite only to Timesplitters 2. The story is excellent and is probably one of the most addicted party games to play besides the Mario Party series.
Yea about that, where did i say that they were similar? I think its right after where i said they were different and that i like both for different reasons. However, I agree with you 100% that they should not be compared, and also 100% on your other point that Halo is all about MC, and that a good trilogy generally has the same storyline and theres a beginning part (usually the best), a bridge (usually the worst, Pirates 2, Halo 2) and then theres the finale which generally closes the story a...

That's exactly it though, FF changes everything about their games from sequel to sequel, so how is it a sequel? Thats like saying Halo was the sequel to Marathon because they were made by the same people. If a game has a different storyline, gameplay, etc... Why not give it a new title? The reason is because FF games get hyped pretty well too because they're FF games, you buy the name, and assume the game is good. (And in FF case they usually are). I do however love both se...
You can see the beard on the marine driving the warthog. Very detailed.
Looks great, that guy pretty much nailed the top 5 improvements (except maybe the grunts, because even with their improvements they're still gonna be easy to tank).
Also for you guys who think the graphics aren't topnotch (stupid fanboys), just look at the how the chiefs armor looks incredably detailed waaaaayyyyy more than Halo2, but also look at how detailed the scenery is from like five miles out. I mean seriously, just looook at that cloud. The people at Bungie really made...
The coolest thing is definitely going to be the saved films. Forge sounds pretty tight, and can also be used by Bungie later on in order to change around a level and use put it in an update. Also Frankie said something about having a tool in co-op legendary that could make it less n00b for more experienced players who still want to play 4-P... Prehaps a variant of Forge that allows campaign levels and enemies to be tweaked?
And Sam... There's a buttload more new stuff in HAlo ...
If this is true, then where is the mauler on the weps page?
