It’s been worse in Brazil, we lost all Xbox physical media support / offers for about 2 years now. Not even worldwide physical releases are coming here.
I was looking forward for this, but all recent backslash scared me away and made me cancel my pre order.
I bought a Xbox specifically due to Scalebound. Not only did MS cancel it but also released only crap first party. I wonder what that game actually was, provided that none of their first party achieved an acceptable status for me.
Honorable mention goes to StarCraft Ghost. I was really hype to dive in StarCrafts world in first person.

This started with MS stopping the sale of physical games in Brazil. Next step, another round of game pass price increase.

Moreover, they are forcing us to subscribe by slowly but steadily stopping physical game sales. And a lot of people don’t even see it coming (most here on N4G won’t even believe that I can’t buy physical disc of Starfield on my country - Brazil - I’ll have to spend 180 USD on Amazon to buy it from Us if I really want to).
I like to own the stuff I buy and have a considerable games collection. What I’ve been doing it to buy all multi plataforma games on Ps5.

I totally regret buying it as I’m a physical disc collector and MS simply stopped selling discs in my country. Didn’t even get a chance to buy a Starfield physical disc.

No it’s not. They stopped selling physical media in many countries thereby forcing people to subscribe to game Pass and now are raising the prices.
I have none and I’m still not sure what to buy, the price and performance difference makes the decision hard.
It’s been dead in Brazil for quite some time. They stopped selling physical media more than a year ago (not even first party MS games are being sold). Starfield, for exemple, is only physically available if imported from US.
