Yeah, I wonder if they face-scanned and doctored the voice actor because he kind of just looks like Ocelot from Pain, just tweaked. They have to mess with Cap way more.
I'll wait to see if/what modders can do with combat, like some sort of proper gore and saber-maiming mod or something.
Here, you poor thing let me help.
"Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Launches [in an inaccessible state] on Xbox Game Pass"
"They've Demonstrated They Can" is a complete sentence; separate it with a period or semicolon.
"I believed in Jesus" and "I was wrong" are complete sentences; separate them with a period or semicolon. Things get tricky, though, with your apostrophes as quotations, in which case the punctuation would be inside if it's a period. We should probably use quotation marks, but we'll stick with your original apostrophes-as-quotation usage. Here, let's give it a try bud:
I believed in 'Jesus.' I was wrong.
I believed in 'Je...
Good, babies shouldn't be catered to; that's happening way to much right now.
No need to explain anything; just make your game. Current culture is just knee-jerk, thin-skinned garbage.
The racial stereotypes thing is incredibly stupid and a pathetic attempt to be current and relevant, but def right about combat; it's just going to be another FPS that brings absolutely nothing new to the table. At least 3rd-person you can create amazing gameplay with the avatar, customization, ect. Can't wait to customize my guy that you can only see in cutscenes and..the menu screen. Cool.
Not to mention glowstick combat, hacking and slashing and simply leaving burn marks. Terrible.
For combat gameplay, it's probably a dud for me right off the bat if it's lightsaber hack-and-slash, or glorified glowstick fighting where it hits bodies/armor, sparks fly and enemy health bars deplete. Hopefully Respawn thought of interesting combat to circumvent Disney's boot-to-the-throat enforcement of their bubble gum brand. I know I won't get Witcher-type maiming (which SW games should always have), but hopefully there's something decent gameplay-wise.
or at least a long line for slaps to the face like in Airplane
Jesus christ that better not mean it's first-person. Hero type games for the most part should be third I think, especially if controlling an established one as opposed to a created one.
Take-Two and R* got in on it too. Why should they be exempt from criticism of garbage monetization practices? Because they create good narratives? No. The landscape is different now and even R* has fallen off. Shitty times for underhanded developers.
Not even just about kids either, although that'd be the major reason for this. Maybe, just maybe devs would be forced to put more development time into other aspects of gameplay, modes, ect. for all players instead of, say, EA who just release a title then only focus on their card sales.
and EA Sports will still not be able to optimize their menu responsiveness and simulation speeds despite the power of the systems.
Landscape so different when Undead Nightmare was released. I feel like devs wanted to make story content for us; now Online ONLY exists because of the real-money stores. No PC, no story DLC, seven-month fake beta shield to attempt to cover their asses. Not sure if R* sucks independently now, or if T2 has shaped them.
Would this mean companies like EA simply wouldn't be able to continue with the Ultimate Team card packs as they are now? That'd be amazing and possibly make them actually work on other aspects of gameplay beyond just MUT, HUT, ect.
Makes sense. Doesn't look like this game is doing anything as far as advancements go; no one is. Still waiting for that incredible leap in gameplay. Not sure what it will look like, but games seem pretty stagnant right now aside from story-telling narratives. Look at AC for example; they're still using clipping to show weapons connecting with bodies with low-res blood flying from nowhere then disappearing. Maybe Tsushima will challenge the landscape with something new gameplay-wise.
Where once you were vegone now you will..BE gone.
Yeah Square seems to struggle with faces for some reason, like if it's not pre-pubescent boys in FF they can't do it well.
