Microsoft doesn't even know what Microsoft's exclusive new IP is. Probably because it hasn't started production yet. Spencer said they "should" have a new exclusive IP so it could be another Phantom Stardust, show a trailer for a game that isn't made and then can it later. Hopefully they ACTUALLY have a new IP and hopefully it blows minds but I won't hold my breath.

I was thinking the same thing about Vietnam era games. There have only been a few good ones. I don't remember the name of it but there was one on pc a LONG time ago that was squad based and it was great. Plus having the lush jungles for scenery instead of brown and gray beaches and run down cities that are in every ww2 game would be a nice change of pace. I didn't think about all the booby traps, that would be an awesome touch.
I'm not saying that the game doesn't look great, because I think that it does. I just really dislike the layer of fog that they added in the latest build. Say what you want about adding atmosphere or whatever but I think that it takes away from the detail from earlier screenshots that I've seen.
Every post that Abriael makes has the term "jaw-dropping" in it. He just needs a bigger vocabulary that's all.
I think No Man's Sky has the potential to be that game changer of this gen. Just because of the expansiveness of the game that hasn't been seen on consoles yet. This of course is wishful thinking but from what has been shown so far it can be in a league of it's own.
This really is a great product I just received it today. Best Buy has a bundle with this charging dock, a dualshock 4 controller, and infamous second son for $79. Pretty good deal if you don't already have second son.

Great article man. This is what I've been thinking this entire gen so far. Last gen (x360 and ps3) was bad enough with every game being scrutinized that this one looks better than that one blah,blah,blah. This gen is even worse because you don't even read about how good a game is or isn't, you only hear what the resolution or framerate is. Really starting to hate this generation of gamers. Everyone has become a whiny bitch about resolutions. I don't own an XB1 and don't really care for Titanfall either, but I don't understand why the only thing that matters is resolution this gen. I have a wonderful idea for gamers on all platforms: quit counting pixels and start doing what videogames were originally designed for and that is to have fun playing them

Fact of the matter is, if the name of the trophy wasn't brought up by a popular game critic, nobody would be talking about it at all. He should have left it alone and nobody would care. I like Sessler's opinions on games most of the time because he cuts through the bs and tells it like it is, but this is one instance where I think the whole thing was a little blown out of proportion
