I have the game.
You do die. But if your in DGF(Dog Fight Mode) then hitting the ground won't always result in your death. It varies actually. Sometimes you die, sometimes you take little or serious damage. But if your not in Dog Fight Mode then you will always die when hitting the ground from my experience.
Your probably waste what you would have saved on the gas :P

I remember I was probably less than 10 years old when this game came out. I think. They advertised the crap out of this game on TV. It got pretty annoying. I was a kid so I didn't know any better lol.
I would remember saying "Omg this commercial again?" So many times. Especially with the music that came along with it.
But looking back, this game was a Masterpiece!
I have the demo on the PS3 but I've yet to install it.

For a game like Uncharted, I don't see why they would even think about a Single Player DLC.
Anyways, I loved the Coop on Uncharted 2. Very challenging even with your two teammates.
Echo is correct. But yeah, someone who doesn't wanna bother looking things up(mom and pop) would just buy this without knowing it could be bought cheaper.
Yeah sure its linked to one account. But with other games, all accounts on the same PS3 can play it if the buyers account was there. So if I were to buy the DLC with my PSN account, my brother, who has his account on the same PS3 because we both game on one ps3, can't use it with his account. Even though its on the same PS3. This isn't the case with other games.
