They just released a video showing year one content. I thought they did a great job of letting us know what is going to happen for the end game without spoiling the surprises they have for us. Rest assured though that there is absolutely pve end game content; incursings, challenge mode, survival dlc, last stand dlc, underground dlc, and probably raids. Mmo's often arent reviewed until servers go live, so this isnt a new thing. Also keep in mind just the small amount of the dark zone we pl...
Imo the only way it could fail is if there are horrible server issues that arent resolved within a resonable amount of time. However i dont see that happening, not just because the betas went so well, but because massive brought in other devs to make sure each area was handled with great care by specialists; red storm crafted weapons, dev for the crew handled post launch dlc integration, and another dev for the online capabilities. Im of the opinion that the game will be phenomenal and the ye...
Beta's kicked a$$, already great graphics being improved post launch, new type of pvp that is crazy fun, devs are as transparent about year 1 content as can be expected, loot trading added. This isnt destiny boys n girls, prepare to be impressed!!
Brooklyn im sure is starting area, you can see from the soundtrack that the intro/training will be brooklyn and will have the police station scenerio we saw in e3 2013.
Also from the pc hud video and simply common sense there will definitely be multi group raids. So end game will be raids, dz, hardest difficulty for pve missions which they say are very hard, daily challenges, monthly events, free dlc, season pass dlc's. I think also Massive has the advantage of learning ...
Has been #1 on my radar since e3 2013, played 50+ hrs between both beta's, joined 20 division communities. Yes you could say im sold on it lol, i get that its not for everyone but no game is, it is for most though and will be a massive success. This is truly something different and special, for those who it clicks with its the best time we'll have gaming in a long time.
I think its great as is. If you accidently go rogue you must addapt or perish, ive had it happen and sometimes id die but sometimes it brought about a great chase. Being able to trick others into going rogue is brilliant and you have to take it into account as a strategy for yourself and others. The entire map only sees you if you get to manhunt level and i survived manhunt about half the time and it was so much fun. I wouldnt want to be penalized for killing ppl who have no loot, i dont like...
I played the beta for almost 40 hours and i loved the dz, both going rogue or chasing rogues where extremely fun. I had tumes where after an epic 15 minute chase i ended up being killed by a bot out of nowhere and it was fantastic, you really have to stay on your toes. I had too much fun to be upset when i lost loot and the tension of not knowing if people would turn on you was unlike any pvp in any games ive played before. No game can please everyone, but im so glad this is something new and...
This isnt a ubisoft issue, they didnt start the dlc trend. Aenea is right, all devs of aaa games factor dlc into their profit projections. It is what it is. Ive certainly been burned a few times on hoping a game would be good and preordering season passes and realizing after beginning to play that it isnt a game i enjoy, im sure many of us have been there. Thankfully these days there is so much coverage on every game that if you do enough research you should have a good idea if any particular...
This actually makes me completely happy. If this is the only launch day issues then it'll only get better. Imo the only way id have been concerned about it longevity is if it was unplayable for the first several days.
