It's at the point that these developers can't program A.I. which ruins the offline experience. I think Polyphony may have something right, even though GT Sport isn't Gran Turismo 7, which is still coming.

Jesus for the love of god play this game. Its GOTY. If you love the series as much as I do, this is a brilliant game. The first person is equivelant to tank controls from the first three. the game is gorgeous and the atmosphere is untouchable. especially if u can do in VR. story is really good too.

If you have a capable PC, i'd wait. Honestly, it does feel more like a MMO than the previous. There is a lot of branching out and a ton more heroic events. However, I feel looting and leveling is too quick. Grinding isn't as apparent b/c within minutes you'll immediately find higher power gear. I guess it's up to you what type of perks you're looking for. Also, I haven't seen any of the pre-order weapons so I don't know what i'm missing.

The gameplay i've seen and everyone has seen the same is it looks identical to how the first game opened up, just visual improvements. Personally, I don't find gore scary. It's gore. Thanks SAW movies for doing that. Resident Evil 7 and the original games by Mikami created a specific atmosphere that you get consumed in. Not jump scares and blood. Hopefully the gameplay and structure has improved. The first one was a major letdown for me.

You cannot argue the fact that the career mode is unchanged, the A.I. is unchanged and still faulty, the cars are missing and are DLC again, and that the driving has been dumbed down to be more casual. These are the facts. It's less of a simulation racer than it was and it was hard to call it that to begin with.
