Uh...is Pachter this stupid? The reason that Sony is "allowing" MS to use blu-ray is because it's not up to them at all. Sony doesn't OWN blu-ray, they are part of a conglomerate that does. It's not their decision, MS isn't using a Sony Blu-ray disc drive, so the amount of money that Sony will make off this deal is SO tiny that it doesn't even matter (cause they will still be in debt and lose money). I like it too, but I admit with how cheap and "skill-less" MW2 and 3 were, I had given up on IW making COD and was going to stick with Treyarch only...it seems like the Treyarch ones take MORE skill atleast and reward less cheap tactics. I still think Titanfall is an amazing game, but I admit like you...I am afraid that it's getting over-hyped...I think it'd be best for them to lay low for a while until it gets closer to launch. They've made their mark, now just focus on refining the game, and keep the mystery alive. That is one area where Killzone IS doing it right...they revealed...then stayed relatively quiet. By the time Titanfall launches, people will be pissed off if it doesn't make them a billionaire...
Exactly...When i got a PS3 I was super excited about Killzone thinking it was gonna be amazing, but Killzone after Killzone I was disapointed..I remember back in the day character animations were awesome for the time...but the stories were always forgetable...I don't even remember them honestly...and I even played one of the betas. Considering that all the console Killzones to date combined have sold more than 2 mil less than the latest Halo. Killzone has always just been a generic shoot...

I agree, not being forced down anyone's throat is a great thing. I just have a hard time understanding why certain people praise this as amazing, when so far it hasn't been shown to do anything amazing...it's a mouse pad really, it can be useful, but not amazing. Yet these same people then turn around and trash the Kinect, which unless it's a Kinect game, isn't forced down your throat either...it's an option, but the voice commands and motion capturing are much more ...

All the running while hobbling looks like it would be frustrating...in a kinda good way for a horror game
