Its really amazing showing tons of 3rd party games. Who care about first party? hell, who cares about SP games.... Patcher you are really so out of touch with reality.
That's good, but again, power without studios that can use it.... again did it help Sea of thieves? its 4k!!! did it help State of decay? its 4k?
Don't mislead gamers.. 5 studios. How many of those are already doing games just for the Xbox??? How many? Its easy PR.
The studio they got is Ninja theory this means how many new games next gen? 1, 2?
Japonese games? This was marketing move to try and say that Xbox will get more japonese games. Nothing more.
Only if they were exclusive it could be amazing, because that's what sell consoles and make gamers buy consoles.

At least they got Forza, Halo and Gears. You must understand that they don't have studios to show anything more then that. Crackdown is not Triple AAA game is another AA game...
They are trying to send the message that next gen they will get more exclusives games, mainly from Ninja Theory because the other studios already are working with them.

Lack of blockbuster new exclusives IP´s. Something new or some exclusive deal that no one was expecting. Like buying Anthem.

dude almost all of those studios are already doing exclusives games for the Xbox, except Ninja Theory.
Having the most powerfull console helped State of decay? because that's one of the studios. They didn't bought SEGA or insomniac or Valve.
But almost all the new studios were already building games for Microsoft. I really think they would buy some big studio with tons of IP, like SEGA. They need a huge studio that got many IP.
Phil spencer still doenst understand that the X being more powerfull got zero impact, because it doenst have any games that make really use of that power. Its just another PR slogan. Did it help Sea of thieves? State of decay?.
More, building a powerfull but expensive console isn't hard to do. What is hard is to make is a powerfull but cheaper console then the rivals.
If next gen you build a more powerfull but that cost more then the PS5 you will get...
The surprise was Ninja theory. The other studios were already working with Microsoft and underdelivering.
There was Zero new blockbuster exclusives announced.

The same first party games, more crackdown. Better show then last year, but it wasn't that hard. In end Microsoft wasn't able to show something new, that blow people away. Something that made all gamers talk about, a huge new IP.
This is just a lie. E3 can help Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, because gamers see whats coming in the near future and wich machine will have the games they want.
What doesn't help any of the big 3 is showing 3rd party games like it was exclusive... Or all PR crap, abour trailer premiere, exclusive trailer, first here and all that crap.
Damn, 151 cut in price. This would be huge for them going from 500 to 349.

After so many years, I hope that Phil Spencer is telling that he got 15 Microsoft games to show, because if this is just more PR and he talking about 3rd party games, DAMN.... that's just plain stupid.

I think its clear that's the path for Microsoft. A service available on all platforms.
No talk about services, PR about gamers online, shoots fired, hours log in and so on. Just show games and games that we want and not empty MP games that in the future will have more content...
Showing gameplay from amazing new games its always a win/win situation. Gamers want to see the evolution from the next blockbuster, well except when they are being delayed year after year.
It will get crushed in sales. The amount of exclusives and bundles that will have....
