For me the engines used in:
Killzone 3 (FPS)
God of War 3 (Hack/slash)
Uncharted 2 (TPS)
Infamous 2 (open world)
are more than enough for this generation. I just wish that other studios could make similar quality games....
Dude, R2 was not a bad game. The single player is average, but the co-op mode is very good, is fast and has tons of enemies. I just wish they made more maps.
I hope the third chapter is good and for me the Resistance franchise is one of the best in market.
yeah, yeah, huge maps for a totaly script game... Amazing...
I think gamers are confused with the word «milking» a franchise... A game can have many chapters but each part must evolved in the story and graphic department.
The problem is that in many franchises that doesnt happpend. Is the some engine, very script, crappy story.
Final Fantasy has that problem. I dont want to talk about COD, because everyone knows its just crap.

The problem with the PS3 this year is that it has too many games and they are of diferent genres, like LBP2, Killzone 3, Yakuza 4, DC Universe Online and next week InFamous 2... Hell, a gamer doesnt need new games.. But sales yeah. You can play with that...

This says a lot about the US Gamers... I got both consoles, but if i was gonna buy a new console in first 6 months of the year it wouldnt be a Xbox 360. No doubt about it. Simple not a single exclusive. Zero announcements about new exclusive games.

With my friends we already create a new mode similar to this one. One is a hunter and the others are the prey. You cant attack the hunter and he must kill you only in melee fight.

This is something that all gamers know, except fanboys. Exclusives is the reason you chose a console. The one that has your favorite games. If you can buy all, better, but the majorite cant. So you must choose the one that gives you more games.

Not really, R2 got the best co-op in the videogame market, with 10 player againt the chimeras. Lots of upgrades and 3 classes.
Its a big lost that r3 will not have this kind of option.

People are SHEEP. of course they are. And COD is a clear example of this. They make Billions from this franchise and it should be the most advanced FPS on the planet.
They got the money to hire the best in the business, for each platform (PC, Xbox360 and PS3, buy or create the best engine, hire great directors and writers for the story and therefore create something amazing.
But, wait for it, the final result is... sub-hd game, washed graphics, crappy onl...

1.º They will never make a version a lot better then another. Its a fact this generation for the PS3. It will be worse, they dont care.
2.º They dont have time to do a better version, A COD every year...
3.º Dont believe in the talent of the Studio, even if evertything is script.
4.º Dont care, because the game is crap

Every single year is the same crap, where some try to compare multiplats with true exclusives build to take the best of a machine... Crysis 2 is another cristal clear case.
And i can say the next one, ID Rage, the most advanced engine, HD, 60 frames, WILL CRUSH everything done before. Graphic King, never reach this level of detail, bla, bla, bla, bla
