One question did Microsoft announced 10 millions sold to customers yet? We are already at january 10 and they tend to brag when they reach a number like 10.
So why didnt they told nothing until now?

Because Microsoft went with the a Wii aproach. They thougt they can build the next Wii and sell gazzillions of consoles. But it all backfire on the launch conference at E3 and then it went all downhill...

Not everyone can get two console, pay for play online and buy games.
This means that will be much harder to any 3rd party studio to left out the PS4, that is now going to try and overcome the Xbox one and Wii U numbers combined.

Last gen the gold was 720p/30. This gen was 1080/60 but Sony and Microsoft build cheap machines and the standard should be 1080p/30.
It didnt because even with price cut and HALO, there isnt any game bigger, it wasnt enough to overcame PS4 in the US, where last gen Microsoft had millions and millions more then Sony.
I thought it would be more then enough. The deals in the US and UK were crazy. So many games for free or bundled... and the price of the Xbox One.

Do you now how much it cost to cut 50$ from each console to Microsoft? multiply that by a million sold... and then two millions.... And think that they wanted 500 for each console sold....

I told the same . They need this pr talk. They failed with the gold of selling more in november and december.Even with price cut and halo mcc. Thats why microsoft isnt bragging about christmas sales. So we are getting this kind of news. What can they do? Only halo sells alot and is a system seller. Forza didnt made a diference and sunset whatever either. They dont have any exclusive in the first months...
