PS3 was the last gen console to drop prices but not so low compared with PS1 and PS2 era had. I remember the last years for PS1 when PS2 was allready on the market, PS1 was lowest like 100 euros and PS2 also same when PS3 was on the market for years. PS4 had only 1 price drop: from 400 to 300 euros.

Because everyone expects a next gen console at the release in holiday 2027 which at that period, PS5 will be 7 years old.
PS1(1994) to PS2(2000) = 6 years
PS2(2000) to PS3(2006) = 6 years
PS3(2006) to PS4(2013) = 7 years
PS4(2013) to PS5(2020) = 7 years
PS5(2020) to PS6(2027-2028) = 7 to 8 years.

That's normal how you think. Time goes faster when you're older and i bought my PS5 since day 1 release and now it's 5 years old. I don't mind a year delay to release PS6 in holiday 2028.

It's just a normal campaign with less excitement about the story but i think in the future they will bring deeper how this goes. I'm not sure and i haven't finished the campaign yet. I also think they didn't have enough time for the campaign to make it longer.
I do like the concept how it goes between the NATO and Pax Armata. It's different than the US versus terrorists story.
This happens to any multiplayer games and unfortunate for bf6 too but that doesn't mean EA is not doing anything. COD is one the worst with many cheaters.
Me too. I loved how the open world was made but that was like 50 to 60% of the complete world shown. We definitely see 100%
To be honest, back when BF3 vs COD MW3 and BF4 vs COD Ghosts, both were good in terms of grounded and original gameplay and both went massive success with also sales for the PS4 launch in 2013. That moment both Battlefield and COD were peaked.
This time it will be different. I see more success to Battlefield sales than COD. I hope many people will be awaken what Activision's doing with COD over the last 5 years. It was getting worse year over year. My last COD was Cold ...

@ FredGarvin this is still not abusing customers. That generation was a huge risk and lot of costs for production, especially when blu-ray was just on the market.
When did Sony abuse their customers and which one? I've been playing Playstation since it exist.
A switch 2 is also expensive what you get for and that price is almost the same price as XboX Series X and PS5 was at launch.
Saving a bit more for PC will quickly be outdated than consoles, especially the GPU so upgrading is still expensive. Buying a console is a good reason you can use longer and no worries about upgrading.
Me too. They did an incredible job with an open world. The last time an open world was made, was FF9. The rest of it wasn't open world.
FF7 Rebirth is definitely worth it. I finished it 100%. The only thing i'm gonna say is: The open world is not 100% made. My guess 65% and it's really big.
I have bought 2 new black controllers and they both are the latest model versions. My other 2 old controllers are 4 years old and batteries were obseleted, one of them holds only 2 hours! and few buttons were to press bit harder. None of them had problems with stick drifts

Yes, i remember that. FF9 was the last FF game that was possible with an airship to fly. FF10 has it too but can't fly around, more like fast travel to each location you want.
FF7 is still in my opinion the best game. FF7 Remake was a small start but expanded from original in Midgar. every 3-4 years? kinda exaggerated. I did upgraded my pc in december 2024 and my previous pc was 9,5 years old except my GPU.
