I swear in the last 3 months MS has been ACTIVELY trying to sink their own ship. Good grief.
Definitely has the edge when it came to a compelling story...
But I don't mind too much, the second was scratching a different itch. The first game was a story-heavy sci fi RPG, the second was an action-heavy shooter (with some RPG elements left over from the first)
Though I hope they go back to full out RPG with the third, I wouldn't mind if they presented us with a third unique feel for the mass effect saga
