I'd only want a virtual console if every game was remade in pixel perfect HD.
Uggghh I was really hoping for fixed camera angles. This is just going to feel like the Revelations series now.
This is all I have been wanting for the last few years!
I don't mind if Nintendo tries new things. You don't have to buy it. As long as I still get my new Mario's, Zelda's and other first party games I'm happy!
Good graphics are always nice to have, but if the game is not fun to play then it's all for nothing!
Loved the demo that came out this week! Plays really great in handheld mode too. Personally I feel it's a perfect game for the Switch library.
I'm still waiting for the RE2 remake... please hurry Capcom!
Unless the Virtual Console games have remastered visuals and widescreen support for Switch I really don't understand people's fixation with the Virtual Console. Let's continue to see some new games for Switch instead. Besides I'm sure most people still have their old Nintendo consoles anyway.
Ya now that gamers have accepted games where half of it is on the cartridge and the other half is a huge install no developer will ever use the 64GB card. If they do, then the retail price of that particular game will be through the roof!
Max Payne is my top pick. Rockstar did an excellent job with the winter atmosphere on that one!
That's why I bought mine on launch day way back in March! The most you'll ever see with Nintendo in the way of a discount is a digital game bundle. No massive price drops like Sony and Microsoft.
They look amazing on Switch. Can't wait for Wolfenstein II :)
Saw tons of Xbox One X's sitting on the shelf at Walmart. But the Switches were flying!
Love Odyssey and Mario games but BOTW is number one for me. It was more challenging and just gave me a different feeling inside. I feel more of an emotional tie to BOTW.
Wow. Just cancelled my Switch pre-order and ordered it on PS4. Really pissed off that I waited 6 extra months for nothing...
We'll that sucks. The game already costs more than the PS4 and Xbox One version. I figured the extra cost was because of the bigger cart, but I guess not...
Same!
I really wanted to give these kinds of 3rd Party Switch games a chance. I really did. But now they are starting to all require a stupid download on top of owning the physical copy. I really hate that. And some of these games cost more than their PS4 and XB1 versions and they don't look as good. I'll be sticking to Nintendo exclusives now and cancelling my L.A. Noire, Resident Evil Revelations, and Doom pre-order.
With the short battery life of Switch I'm only playing 1 game on the go anyway. I'm not jumping in and out of multiple games while out and about. And if I was inclined to do so my Switch carrying case has space for a few game cartridges too :)
I love my physical copy of Wonder Boy! Nicalis did a great job. I really miss physical copies like this... even if more games today had the printed instruction manuals I'd be happy. There's just something special about opening a new game and seeing everything together!
