Looks pretty cool for a project. Wish they would actually remake these games.
I think Sony made the more powerful console. Especially with the way games are going to be designed going forward. Epic has already stated that their new engine works better on the ps5 over the Xbox. Due to the speed and hard drive and I/O through put.
And game pass is a scam…. They should go back to actually focusing on making great games. That should be your number 1. Sadly it’s never been Xbox’s MO.
I agree with some of what you say. But I do think I have a very good history to go off of. I have owned every Xbox and avid gamer for the past 30 years of my life.
MS has a clear track record now. My prediction is based in reality and going off of what they have done in the past.

As if this doesn’t happen every 5 to 7 years. Sony is in a very good place right now. Way more so than Xbox that’s for sure.

Xbox has never been able to deliver titles out side of gears and halo. Neither of which they actually made or developed. Xbox as a brand has had 20 years to show us what they’ve got and it’s been bare bones since mid 360 days.
Now they have bought a bunch of developers in a very short period of time, and you think they have years...
I have to disagree with your statement. I can’t stand it when game company’s do this, but this is indeed the era where you can get away with it.
We didn’t patch games in the ps2 days and before. We got a very little taste of it durning the ps3 days but very slightly.
Since ps4 every game has a day one patch. And so many people give games like this multiple looks and wait years for it to get better. Destiny 1 and 2, Sea of thrives which I played at lau...
Pc gamers don’t even play games they count frames. And 70 % of games on pc are crappy ports, early access or half made indi games. (Love Independent games to be fair.)
PC would be bad ass if half the games for the platform worked as intended. And last, PlayStation and Nintendo still make the best games on the planet and to play most of those toy still need those consoles.
PC needs all the help with games and good quality games as they can get.
I have been saying this for the past 3 years. Pretty much since game pass started.. Sony shouldn’t do this at all unless we all want cookie cutter games, and or want the quality of those games to suffer due to a set and strict budget… Sony should not go down that path and keep making the best AAA GAMES on the market that actually push the industry forward.
I have an Xbox SX and game pass is kinda cool and I have used it for a couple of months but the quality of the games...

To each there own, I played and loved both games. The first one is by far the better horror game in my opinion and I felt they took a few steps back on the second one. But still thought it was really good.
Dude you are obviously not into the game. That doesn’t mean what you say is fact at all, that is your opinion and that is fine.
However if you can’t see a list of other reason why the game is in fact a good game than you are either lying to yourself, or you don’t understand the Medium, game philosophy and design, and or “art” in general.

I thought the game was a masterpiece…. So did a lot of other people. It’s all good though they make plenty of games for people like you all the time. COD, GEARS, BATTLEFIELD. FORTNIGHT, PUB, Etc
When you actually grew up playing good video games, you know how to spot a good video game, and this is in fact a very very good video game no matter which way you slice it.

I don’t get this consumer friendless crap. They put extra work into the game, 10 bucks is nothing. I don’t know any other industry that gives new things away for free. Yes if it is just an up res and more FPS don’t charge for that because that takes very very small effort, but if you are adding content and improving the game well duh you can charge for that.
Loved this game. Hope it gets all the sales it deserves so they can make another game! It was very cool playing a game like this in 2021 blast from the past!!
Been playing for a few days and I am actually surprised at how well they did some of their puzzles. Would love some more games just like it. Love the fixed camera and old school survival horror!
Well you have the option to not buy it. But if they are going to go through and upgrade it and make changes to it and make it the best version than yeah it makes sense that you would have to pay for it. Now if they just patch it to run better here and there than yeah I don’t think you should have to pay for that. But if they are gonna do a bunch of work on it, makes sense to pay for it. And I gladly will if they actually put in the time and do a proper remaster/remake

I agree 100%. Plus I never really understood the new tomb raider games. I know people loved them.. but they always felt cheap to me and way overrated. I played the first two the whole way through because of nostalgia I guess. But they proved again with the avengers that, they really only make mediocre games.
