ME2 is not a FPS, the game isn't coming to other consoles at the same time being inferior. I don't know why you mentioned Rage the issue is that the PS3 is having trouble running the game on the same level as the other platforms, not that it only runs at 30FPS.
It doesn't have the games, services and features that are popular, why spend $50 more on something trying to model itself after the cheaper platform and fails or takes years to come close.
Either that or the hardware innards are getting cheaper. What's good to know is that the new cheaper units are never inferior to the ones that come before them in any way. Added value or a straight drop are options.

It's only obvious Poly was hiding this game from view as long as they could. The GT5 gameplay article with all the fans praising the game was too funny, their praise was forced at to say the least. There are multi platform racers that look better than GT5.

Need a tissue? the freaken PS3 version looks washed out in warmth/vibrance and has poor impact with no punch with light and dark changes(poor contrast ratio).
Looks like there is a milky film on all the textures blurring detail on objects weakening the shadow detail/depth and lighting, like shine.
The difference is that of high end HDTV's and a low end HDTV's that do not support deep color and have low contrast ratio's IMO.
