People are worried about a quality bar but, the article says that quality bar will be advertising. While the store risk being overrun with bad games, gamers opinions, and Sony advertising will dictate what people are exposed to most.
I'm always seeing "tablet and smartphone" but, I have to wonder about Vita apps.
I miss Pandemic the most.
The things that are killing creativity are lack of sales for those new ideas.
Guess what? Some of the people that spend hundreds of dollars on equipment still suck. The recent development means that some of the good personalities that can't a afford it will also be able to upload video.
It's not stagnation, it's a design principal called Convergence. I urge anyone interested to look up the literal definition but basically, it states something like this.
Natural and manmade entities will start to converge on the best design to support a function given enough time and iterations.
It's been 8 generations, we've reached basically the height of how to control video games. Everything else is just a tweak, by comparison.
Whoever this guy is, he needs to keep on talking. This is exactly the kind of articles and communication and personality MS needed a month ago to soothe gamer rage. Hopefully Whitten can keep these kind of articles up while making everyone else in his company keep quiet from saying stupid things. It's especially tickling that he addressed my favorite expression from the Xbox 180 debacle, "MS took their toys home with them".
This article is right to a certain degree. The Xbox one will sell regardless of hardcore gamers opinion. But, where it will matter, is in the micro. I know for example that my entire gamer group of friends ( about 20 people ) have converted to buying PlayStation 4's instead of Xbox Ones.
Fragmentation between the group of people that I care about playing with is gone. And that's really what I care about.
Jak and Ratchet crossover. A fantastic way to start the new generation.
I just want to change the color of the light bar. Deep red, maroon, has always been a personal favorite for lighting choice.
I think most of the indie devs are mad about the whole No Self-Publishing thing. And the apparently bad service MS provides when trying to get their games to platforms.
I always think there are 3 ways to go about this.
Call attention to it and mail your customer and say sorry and give you a little something as an apology.
Suck it up and honor the mistake.
Don't do anything and say screw you.
The first 2 are better than the last 1.
Good. It seems they are doing less despicable stuff now that the shakeup is going on.
It might be also be the off white background.
She's attractive. But, something about her is off.
That's all you bro. Don't read things on the internet about a video game you're playing. But, if you're torn up about Ellie supposedly living, you'll be really sad when she dies. And Joel dies. And almost everybody you meet in the entire game dies in the end. Or maybe they don't. But, they probably do. I don't know. Spoilers maybe?
What's there to mull over? There's some consumer interest. Just do it. It's another avenue for money to flow through from gamers to Nintendo.
Very basic maintenance for my Playstation tech keeps them going smoothly for years more.
Not like it really matters but, why do Xbox's always look so empty? Their so much empty space in their boxes and it's like they could make them tons smaller. I opened my PS3 once and it was packed to the rim with just metal and innards.
Adam is much more eloquent with his own channel than he ever was able to be at G4. We really need to start looking at the bigger picture again.
