I knew sooner or later the PC market was going to take a huge leap and make DX10 look like a simple tech demo. First we get the DX11 cards such as these, then we get backwards compatibility for our DX10 cards and then next year we may get the rumored 6 and/or 8 core CPU's. I love PC gaming.

I dont see why you sony kids get all worked up when some one says something neutral towards your company for some dumb little thing. MS never said sony sucks or anything like that. If you want to see the people who talk the most sh*t and lie more than anything look in the mirror. Back at E3 sony claimed every single game they showed was exclusive to the PS3. Um... what about UT3, COD4 and all the other games that are multi-platform?

I dont think this is that over the top. It's just shows how confident the company is in the game. This is like the 360 block buster for this year and of course their going to throw themselves fully behind the game. They did it last year with gears of war, but thats wasnt as big as halo 3. Give it time Sony and Nintendo are going to market the hell out of their top games too.

I just got another Xbox 360 today. It was manufactured almost a year ago and it has the new power brick and cable. The brick doesnt have the buttons on it and the power cable between the wall and the power brick no longer has a grounding prode. I guess they took the ground out so people can plug them into surge protectors without bricking this time.

Sorry, but I dont get how someone can dissagree wit your comment. You describe your systems not breaking so that has nothing to do with your opinion. Sony fanboys these days; dissagree with anything that contains microsoft.

It's not like they had to bash PS3 for it's line-up, but there right Sony and Nintendo will be competing agaist each other for who has the best stuff. Microsoft has an unbelievable line-up for this holiday and that cant be denied. Xbox never followed in the PS3's footsteps for the game as it started development on the 360 first. Second I now dont really wan the game because I dont want to play with playstation people. Sorry, if you think I'm a huge fanboy, but I dont want to them on the game or hear them when I'm playin. Final statement I'm not buying it if I cant play with only PC players. Consoles slow us down on graphics and everything.
For the people bringing 2008 in to this topic. It's to far off the see who has the best stuff. MS has rumored from the begining to have DX10 compatible hardware in the 360 from the begining. If this rumor comes true than were going to see some of the most spectacular games from the 360. If not the games are still going to great for all systems and were still going to see great graphics on both systems. New times call for new game engines. We will see it when the time comes, just be patient.
Since when are you Microsoft Finacial Advisor? It doesnt take a genious to figure out that a price cut is a price cut and it's going to move consoles fast. Sony dropped their system $100 and there sales were up 1000% on amazon. So why would it not do the same thing for Xbox360. With the line-up this holiday and the price cut this holiday MS has got it covered. Sony has Killzone 2 next year and it's a great game, but the holidays is where you wanna sell cause if you do your going to sell a ton...
Some of your dreams may have just come true. If you guys have an Ebay account your in luck. I have been watching these systems end for around $250 for the last 2 months. When people find out about these price drops there goig to freak and get rid of there consoles sooner so they can get more money out of it. Give it 2 weeks and I bet you will be picking up premium systems on Ebay for $180 - $200 easily. They all should be dropped $50 though.
I see alot of people disagree with me on what I have to say. When it comes down to telling people what is really going on you have to have the cold hard facts to back-up your reasoning.
