Once you start stifling creativity from developers and forcing sequels they don't want to make, That's when games are really going to go to sh!t. At the end of the day if this game gets rated good, all of these people who are saying they're not going to buy it because of the protagonist are lying through their a$$. In no world is $700 okay for the price of this system. The gamers that use discs, this will cost $775. For all of you that are okay with this price...if Microsoft was the only brand releasing a pro model, you would be crucifying them at this price. The biased mindset is mind blowing. Pro models are supposed to cost what the launch price of the original system was...that is how it has always been. This will be the first Pro system that I will not own.
I was gonna take the plunge, then I saw the price...nope. I'll stick with my regular old PS5.
This is a good thing. Not trying to start everyone arguing, I am just curious...Has Sony ever sold a studio they owned after they closed it? I am glad a sequel to High Fi is possible now...
Let's not forget they did layoffs also.
Severance is great but the problem is the industry is experiencing layoffs all over, which makes it very hard for a lot of these people to get back into a job. The issue is these companies are expecting higher revenue every year, and when they have a year where they make the same amount or a little bit less all hell breaks loose. The only silver lining I'm seeing here is that a lot of these people will go on to create smaller indie studios and hopefully create something.

How is this desperate? Sony is openly contesting the acquisition and absolutely should be called to answer questions. Let's be real here, if this was reversed and Sony was buying Activision, 90% of this site would be jumping for joy.
