I just finished Mass Effect 3 and I must say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the ending. It made perfect sense.
The only people complaining are young teens who have never read a book in their lives. The ending of ME3 contains deep emotional, philosophical, socio-political concepts that many gamers simply do not have the capacity to comprehend in their minds.
These kids who complain just want to run and gun and not get involved in the story.
