@Joeorc - I wasn't stating that it won't work out perfectly. I was merely saying that it's still a bit too early to say that the PS4 has proven anything. I will say the exact same thing about the NextBox when it debuts as well - it's just too early. But, like I said, the early forecast for the PS4 looks very awesome. Don't understand why I got all the downvotes as I wasn't even saying anything negative. So many tightly bunched panties here [not saying you're among ...
Things like this used to be sold as expansion packs and people rejoiced. Now that it's packaged as DLC, people revile it. Do you think developers didn't have content planned [or at least a vague idea] for post-release back in the expansion pack days? Same stuff, different wrapper.
Have they really? I don't think they've proven anything, yet. Well, except that the PS4 exists. It sounds awfully impressive, but theory and practice are different things.
@Knight_Crawler
LOL - slap in the face to Xbox fans. If people are that bent over seeing a developer work with another console, it's time to change hobbies.
Really went out on a limb with the name, huh?
Dark Souls 2: Grossly Incandescent
Oh, how edgy.
Breaking news: sun confirmed to rise tomorrow
Agree completely, friend.
Thank God for Demon's/Dark Souls - no button mashing QTE bullshit there!
No.
Enjoy the hits while you get them, Digitally Downloaded [whoever/whatever that is]. Some douche jumping at a chance to create controversy where none exists.
Didn't a Redguard game come out about 15 years ago? I can't remember if it was an expansion to Daggerfall or a standalone, but I'm pretty sure there was a game with that name released already.
Pretty sure Daggerfall allowed for traveling from one end of Tamriel to the other.
Hm. Can't tell if I received disagrees because of the Halo or Journey. Hopefully, it's just because two people didn't think TWD was worth it.
My vote would've went to The Walking Dead first or, barring that, Borderlands 2. Don't own a PS3, so I can't vote for Journey - I've heard great things, though. Played through Halo 4 and enjoyed it, but I don't understand any GOTY hype. Dishonored would probably have been my third choice.
Do you actually believe the things you say? I knew console fanboyism was bad, but I didn't know it could bring people to the point of cranking up their own Goebbels-esque propaganda machines. Pace yourself is all I'm sayin'.
Whoosh.
I hadn't considered the thought of them needing an exclusive to help drive sales. I guess it's still hard for me to wrap my head around the idea of them being in the same group as Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo. Strange and interesting times ahead!
Love Valve, despite their almost-monopoly on PC gaming via the Steam client. I hope this drives competition in the console gaming sector. Curious as to what effect this will have on availability of future Valve games, though. I can't see them making, say, Half Life 3 exclusive to their console only because they enjoy things like money and success.
Why would you wish something like that "Arrow to the knee" garbage on Bioshock? D:
So, we should do away with used cars and houses that have been lived in? Your logic makes no sense. Video games aren't condoms - they can be used more than once and by different people.
