To be fair, as the author of the article you're replying to, console gaming is holding PC gaming back, because the big three have resorted to buying off big publishers to release exclusives for their consoles, rather than doing what they used to do and just releasing their own exclusives that weren't just money-hatted.

I don't really understand most of these. These aren't issues restricted to just home consoles.
The internet is an issue everywhere, hence the whole Google Fiber thing and the government's attempts at limiting the power of the few ISPs available in the US.
Voice commands are an issue on every device. This isn't a technology anywhere near being perfected yet.
Lack of party chat exists in PC games as well. This is up to develope...
Most of the remasters are console exclusive games.
And for the record, remasters aren't slowing down development on new games.
