But in Super Smash Bros., attacking them doesn't directly matter either... You just gotta get 'em off the screen, they can sit around taking punches all day as well.
You fail at sarcasm. No one ever even implied RAGE had bad graphics, or graphics worse than MW2. In fact, if anything, RAGE's graphics are OVERhyped, as people are saying these are some of the best graphics ever, when they're just... good. Not even great. Better than, like, MOST games. But not even in the top 15. The article has legitimate complaints, and you obviously read none of them. You're practically parodying yourself at this point- if I were to generalize, I would say that...
@bailoutbenny
Well, posting answers to math problems isn't inherently illegal, but I think you just greatly oversimplified the situation. It straight up was illegal, you're not allowed to bypass security measures at all, let alone post it up for the world to see.
Besides, that's some strange logic you have there- because Sony's product didn't have flawless security, it is their fault that hackers bypassed it? That's insane.
This article is great, I totally agree, and it's getting a little annoying to keep hearing developers saying they're 'maxing out' a console when you can't ever truly do that.
Same fighting mechanics (it even had the same animations and sound effects for Pete's sake), same Bat-vision thing, same camera (except they centered it for when you're not fighting), same AI, same Batarang/Shield mechanics, etc.
Ninja Gaiden? Really? No. Devil May Cry & Bayonetta? Yeah.
I mean, really, the combat isn't nearly as technical as it would appear. I've essentially mastered that game, so I'm speaking from experience here, that it doesn't reward skill as well as the other games, including God of War. Enemies spin constantly towards the player, making rolling according to apprehension nearly impossible as opposed to memorizing attack patterns. Enemies can constantly throw ...
Moron. They 'earned the right to be heard'? They didn't do anything! They were just close to a person that actually earned it! And those people that earned it are fine with it! And stupid people without interest in games are the only opposers, keeping the Taliban wouldn't matter! Getting that retarded mother and others like her to be happy won't affect sales at all!
It takes skill. Although you can't do moves as precise as those in cutscenes, I think I'm at a point where I've gotten good enough that average gameplay looks about as cool as many cutscenes. Check out skilled people on Youtube (the few that there are), it takes a ton of skill, mastery of many moves, and learning to get the controls working just right, but once you do, I find it to be one of the best combat systems out there. Also, you have to upgrade your character a bit before i...
Why does everyone disapprove of the law? Businesses have rights too, you know- as an independent game developer, I want to be able to distribute my product online, and I would appreciate having the law on my side when it comes to any old Joe being able to download my software for free. Don't I deserve that right? Why are people who steal music, movies, games, and software protected? Just because the internet distribution hasn't really had much interference with the law thus far, it do...
You know, I ain't the biggest Halo fan- I think it's one of the most overrated series out there. But even I can easily admit that this is a god-awful review, considering I had better writing skills in 7th grade, it was far too brief in explaining the flaws, and it felt as though he really enjoyed every aspect of it besides the story. It's a shame though, since he touched upon the biggest flaw of the series, in that it feels like the exact same game every time, and the last sequel ...
Yes, it's finally coming for real! Again!
(2 drums and a cymbal fall off a cliff)
I haven't really enjoyed a James Bond game in a while, I hope they can make something at least as good as Everything or Nothing with this one.
You would think that Sony could just have an update where if the USB stick has the jailbreak file, it wouldn't allow it to run. I guess it isn't that simple, though, or else other hardware that has been jailbroken would do the same....
Oh well, I'm kind of glad that it's a very weak hack at this point. I don't like hackers or pirates, I mean what's the point of it for them?
How is Gabe courageous just because he admitted he acted like a moron? Even HE admitted he acted like a tool and comes across as an idiot. I understand Valve has some serious fans, but I don't see MW fans defending Bobby Kotick.
And besides, Valve isn't exactly a revolutionary developer. Every single game they make is just some form of the Source engine, plus a new, simple gimmick. Don't get me wrong- it works out well and gets some pretty good games out there, bu...
Well, I have to admit, they have a great point. In fact, I now find myself disgusted with The Hurt Locker! I propose we boycott the Academy for honoring such a profane film that tries to entertain us with war! Those sick fools!
Clearly, there's a problem with playing as a Taliban in the game, too! If I'm stupid enough to play the game, I would only mind murdering the less-than-human Taliban! U.S. troops are the only people in Afghanistan that ACTUALLY count as people,...
You can tell the author just grabbed the biggest games of the generation, put out their flaws out of context or made them up, and called them overrated for some hits or attention or a feeble attempt to make an article that 'thinks outside the box'.
He doesn't explain why Braid is overrated; he bashed the Secret of Monkey Island (how can you do that!?); And I just can't get over this:
"We thought a critic’s job was to speak to every member of its a...
I feel bad for Sucker Punch. First everyone said Cole was generic and lame when the first inFamous came out, Sucker Punch listened to the complaints and made a new one that's less hardened (as being TOO hardened was people's problem with him in the first one), and now people are saying, "whachoo talkin' about? We loved the old Cole, you crazy developers!" Both Coles are fine, neither blend in with the other citizens (I mean, have you SEEN them?), and it seems as though y...
Console preferences come down almost entirely to how much you like the games. For example, I doubt 360 owners will dispute that the PS3 has better tech, just as PS2 owners will agree that the Xbox had better tech. As far as technology goes, PS3 has the superior format with Blu-ray, better processing, more reliability, and more flexibility with accessories and the like, such as the ability to add additional hard drives. The only advantage the 360 maintains, technology-wise, is Xbox LIVE, altho...
"I know most Sony fans are "hoping" the Slim Xbox 360 doesn't sell well, but bottom line, it will probably sell as good as the Slim PS3 did and maybe even better, Plus there are around 2 million current Xbox's out on shelves at really reduced prices. I think This is a great step for Microsoft."-Think about it, MS pulled almost the exact same move as Sony on that one, minus the blu-ray player and the other bundled stuff, I think. I don't see why it would sell mo...
Holy crap, it's about time. Now I can finally 100% this amazing game, thank you so much for this walkthrough. I hope I'm BRAAAAAAAAAAAAVE enough to complete it!
