I've just finished the pc version which is 100% the same as the wii's version story-wise "only complaint: too easy and short"
then I started playing the wii-version and I can tell you that besides the big and small graphics differences, they were able to do it.
you get the same action on-screen with physics, hdr and blooming and the frame-rate is almost perfect, all I can say is that if the Conduit is able to out-do this game by 10% then it can bet put alongsid...

back to the point if they pushed back 2 months means we're getting a better game and they're incorporating Wii-motion plus, not a bad thing.

the wii has a buttload of hard-core, good looking games coming out, and capcom having sold a sh!t-load on this console wold be stupid not to release it, makes no sense cause the could just port it, besides what's so special about the title-screen... they're just hyping it up.

this is big competition for the conduit, as is definitely gonna be the most fun game you could play on the Wii. Wii's lineup has become something of a powerhouse with hard_core games, and there's still more to come....:)
I finished it and the game is great, needed maybe 6 more months in the oven to polish graphics specially on some characters and a few stages, but the main character, driving, volcano scenes and the gameplay, make this an epic title, surely the best looking most fun, and story driven title on the wii, and should be on everyone's library. :) give it a solid 9.
not the same physics, edit <---"way more" but the real story here is that ps3 and x360 owners feel left out because the few titles the have coming are all beautiful but lack fun... except GOW2...:), they're probably just making fuzz since this title is not gonna sell like the last and they want to overshadow Disaster: DOC and Farcry 2....

Wii: underpowered but just cool ass hell with descent games and library.

PS3 needs a Mario or a Link, a Master Chief or a Marcus Phoenix in order to come on top and that's not happening at least in this Gen, sorry but it is what it is.
The Sonic engines on the wii are very good, and the new Sonic and the Black Knight has some serious graphics behind it, hey but people will rank on it regardless, so it's basically point-less to post positive stuff about the Wii in this site.
wow if those are in game graphics then is gonna be sweet, it looks better than Sonic unleashed.

I agree that a 2d sonic game would be awesome, but 2d is not always better, look at Metroid, eveyone grinned at the idea of it going 3d and look at it now.
It all depends on art concept and styling, Sega can't seem to find the formula and they've tried everything even 2.5d let's hope capcom doesn't suffer the same obstacle with the new street fighter game.
I think Sonic should be 2.5d cell shades since sonic is a character whith edges all over his body, that would make ...

World of Goo should be rated at 10, since this is a beautiful title and is going to be the goal for wiiware, the way Zelda is for full games.
Besides they gave Lost Winds an 8.2, i don't know what would take for a 10 with these people...

I'm sorry but if you don't include Farcry 2 and specially Dead Space in that list then you have no business making game of the year awards...
all of the above are great games, but Dead Space should be on the top of that list.
