PC has almost
no physical media. Even if you buy the game from a store you still need to download it and run it through the client like steam, windows store or epic.
The difference is that Ubisoft saw the issues and spent a long time fixing them. Kudos to them for that. Very few games get that level of changes and fixes. With Anthem it is possible that they will fix them, but with their reputation no one is confident they will deliver the needed fixes before moving on to something else. What they should and hopefully are aware of is that if they fail to adequately fix Anthem they will lose a lot of their core fans and it will take years to regain peoples ...
@Rimfro "How much do you honestly think these guys make"
It would depend on which players, some of them are millionaires now from esports. https://www.businessinsider...
It would also depend if they get any sponsorship or endorsements on top of their prize money. But the top 100 players have all pretty much made $1million each ...
ME3 and Dragon Age inquisition were well received and have great meta scores. I think the problem is their last two games, not those that came before.
They don't need the money, they just need to be able to raise the capital investment needed. They could do it through loans, stocks, further investment from members or external sources etc.
I would say it could be risky, but not a bad investment. GTA being exclusive would drive sales of Sony consoles, so they would increase their customer base in response. In addition we need to factor in what Google are doing. Sony need to ensure they stay ahead and this is a way to make that happen. If google decide to take gaming seriously then it would pressure Sony's most profitable division. They might just take the leap to ensure it doesn't happen.
Also look at ...
If Google decide to make a big push (and more than just streaming) to enter the gaming market then MS and Sony need to up their game to ensure they don't fall the way of Sega. As it is Sony's most profitable business they might think the risk is worth it. If they do buy Take two MS need to look at AAA studios, because smaller AA studios won't give them the attention they need after this. Not sure if it is true, it sounds unlikely, but it is such a big move if it is.
@Inzo, just for info MS have an annual operating revenue of over $100billion and as a company are valued around $800 billion.

Sony have a market value around 58 billion, take two 9.5 billion. It would be a huge move, but Sony could probably buy take two.
If true then MS need to step up their purchases, because this single move would be bigger than everything they have done recently.
Less games, but as someone who has both PS plus and gold the games are much better on plus. At least in the last 12 months anyway.
They probably should have made Alan Wake 2, but I am glad they didn't. I remember reading an interview from Remedy saying the integrated TV show elements were actually their idea and they pitched it to MS (who get the blame for this element), at the time MS were setting up a studio to make TV shows. It was Remedies vision to follow on from the live TV elements in Alan wake with Quantum break. So if that is true I am glad they didn't make Alan Wake at that time as it would have been a...
Quantum break was a good, but flawed, game. If they use the positive elements and fan feedback
from it for control, it could be excellent.
" I basically have it free by using Bing rewards."
Its a great reward program. I use mine to get 12 months of gold and a new release game each year. Its crazy in some ways that I earn this many point from it without having to spend anything.
Te head of their naming division is probably "John Smith".
So does this mean MS are planning to support xbox one s once the next console is released? If not releasing a new console 12 months before the next xbox comes out is not a great move for those that buy it. Alternatively the next xbox is at least 2 years from release.
It's easier just to register a new user account, plus cheaper.
@segagamer. Also.
"You turn your console on, I turn my pc on.
You turn your controller on, I turn my controller on.
You load up your game, I load up my game. "
I turn my controller on, this starts my Xbox, which in turn starts my amp and tv. I press one button and start my current game. No booting up PC, using a mouse to open my steam client, opening the game and turning the controller on. No updates required as it is almost all done in ...
They make games that appeal to the most diverse demographic of all the game makers. This is why they sell so many copies.
@segagamer, actually I disagree. My xbox supports suspend and resume. So I can exit a game and start it again without loading anything. If i use headphones it automatically recognises them, no need to change my sound settings ( windows 10 is crap for this) and always gets it wrong swapping between sound devices. Games are often better optimized for the hardware so I don't need to fiddle with the graphic settings at all if it is poorly optimised. If I want to swap from my game to netflix i...
Graphics 4, controls 4, value 3.5, music 3 then overall 2.8 as it's not an average.
This has to be the most messed up review system I have seen in a while.
